looks a little dry in those post mate... Also how far away from the plants is the light ? they look like they are starting to stretch already.. If possible keep the lights closer to your plants.

Thats what I thought, when my plants stretched like that I reburied them with loads of the excessive stalk under the earth.
Then it fixes the thin plant problem and gives a greater area to grow roots from.

I also wonder if you are using a fan?

Not only does it help by moving air around it also simulates wind which encourages the plants to make thicker stems.

Buddy, they're as stretched as it gets.

What light are you using? They look like they're struggling. Whatever it is, move it much closer to them. If it's CFL, get it right next to the plant.

I don't use nutes myself, but what I've heard is that miracle grow is bad.

You can go to either lowes or hd and buy some cheap lights to get by and watch some plants grow. You won't really be able to create the needed conditions to create much bud (if any) , unless you invest some time and/or money.

Probably need to make some type of enclosure, cabinet or something so you can control both the light and dark period. Just like with anything else, you get what you put into it. But the bottom line, is you need some serious watts and lumens to really consider any worthwhile harvest.

any basic i can get so they can grow strong and fast?
Like the other guy said...you need to get them in a box or enclosure of some kind with something reflective so you're not wasting the light. Use a small desk fan to gently blow on the plants.
You are using Miracle Grow soil, yes? If yes, you will not need any nutes for 3 months. After that, you can give them 1/2 or 1/4 strength liquid plant food. Always start nutes off very weak and build up slowly.
Suggestion? Get a box, cut a hole in each end and place the fan on one side - blowing through the hole. Paint the inside of the box flat white..or (not ideal) line it with tin foil...or use one of those shiny windshield sun block thingys.

Just a few ideas!
