1st time grow

If the pots are too small it will stunt then eventually stop growth. You can put them in the 12/12 light cycle as soon as they sprout, but it won't be a very big yield. assume the plants will double in size when in the 12/12 cycle so keep that in mind with space. happy growin!

Thanks mate! Gonna have to transplant them but quite worried about ruining the plants. Everywhere I look, 3 week old plants are really skinny! Any ideas why my stem and nodes are so thick? They seem to be sagging a bit...

transplanting is no problem. once you do that first one you'll really wish you didnt have to do the rest! more time consuming than anything else. could just be the strain that the nodes are so fat. with the fan leaves being so broad i would assume that it was a light issue, but im not certain. how often are you watering? could it be sagging because its dry, or is it always like that?

ya just make sure you get it completly saturated. what i do is fill in till it starts to run thru, then pay attention to the weight. then you let it dry out, feel for the light weight, and water again until you feel the full weight. it takes some adjusting and getting used to. make sure it dries before you water again, the roots need oxygen. nothin like watching the grass grow.
