1st time CFL bag seed :D

hey cryoss. pretty nice looking first plant. i just ran across this thread and im gonna sub for sure. im wondering what kind of nutes your giving her...this last set of pics tells me you may be overdoing it a bit. i'm thinking the lower leaves were yellowing because you're using cfls and they werent getting enough light. also wondering if you have an idea of her breed...why'd you pick this bean to be your first. thanks

I was giving her some high N miracle grow but I stopped that a while ago. I switch to a high PH generic nute but I was using it pretty sparingly since I overdid it the first time. And I dont think light is the problem. She has 6 CFL's from above and another 3 cfls from the sides so I think she is pretty well covered in that regard. As to what she is... no idea I found a few random old bag seeds from a while ago and decided to try sprouting them, things just went from there.

Other than a few yellow leaves the rest of the plant looks like it is booming. Everyday I come home and its noticeably thicker. The smell is becoming noticeable as well tho :/ so I might have to do some work on odor control. I also just ordered some seeds so I should have a better idea of what to do on my second attempt

I though I had enough light, right now I have 210 watts worth of CFL's with 9 bulbs, right now I do only have the light on one side and I just rotate the plant daily so I could do add a bit more light there pretty easy. The leaves are still yellowing a bit but I think the process has slowed down. I just found a pretty decent gardening shop nearby so I have a better resource than walmart and lowes now too




I am trying to make a clone of her even though i think it is pretty late. I thought it was worth a try, kind of want to keep my first plant around now I still cant wait to finally roll her up for the first time I also planted some tomato seeds just to see what happens heh

looking very nice bro. going to be some nice buds. she's still looking a bit over fed though. see how the fan leaf tips are curling down? that's a big sign. next couple few times i'd just water and make sure i get plenty run off. also noticed your only using half the container... if you top off with soil, roots will grow out of the burried stem. more roots = happy lady

Things are still progressing nicely, I topped up the pot with a bit more soil and she has nothing but water for the past couple weeks. The yellowing of the lower leaves seems to have stopped, now instead the leaves look like they are turning purple a little but on top or along the edges :/ I unfortunately neglected the clone attempt so it dried out... but on the other hand I had my first test and it passed quite nicely heh. but the buds are still swelling daily and leave me smiling every time I check on her

heh yep, sorry the camera sucks but you got it right. I have 1/3 seeds of each sprouting right now, I will post some pics after there is some actual visual growth. I kind of just picked some seeds at random but I think I am still pretty happy with my selection. I am pretty excited to see several stains growing at the same time and see the difference between them. Gotta finish off my current plant first of course

Heres me new little veg box I made last night not quite done but I think it will do the trick for now. Trying to clone into some root gel pots I found and have some tomato seeds growing in there as well right now lol none of my new seeds have sprouted yet but its only been a few days.



My first plant is still doing alright as well. The top leaves are starting to turn pretty purple and the lower leaves were quite a bit more yellow when I checked on her today compared to yesterday. Still been giving her nothing but water. The buds are still getting thicker so I am not too worried
