They look like balls to me...Hey real quick can you guys help me identify this as male or female preflowers if you could. This plant is doing so well and I'll be livid if its male. Thought they were feminized.
Hate to tell ya but its male.i just found this thread and it's very interesting better luck next time. I'll be keeping up if you do more.Hey real quick can you guys help me identify this as male or female preflowers if you could. This plant is doing so well and I'll be livid if its male. I've grown some outdoors and always culled the males first sign of balls, you know why. But how can you collect and save pollen? I know you can't with a outdoor grow or even a indoor grow unless you only have the one plant. Am I right or wrong? This is the first plant I've ever grown inside. It's outside in the sun right now and brought in at night put under cflLooks like a male to me. Always wait it out until you are sure. Sad days! Keep the pollen if you have space!
There are various ways to collect pollen. The male must always be isolated so you can control what females are pollinated etc...I've grown some outdoors and always culled the males first sign of balls, you know why. Gotcha pal, good info there. Thank you for the explanation!! Grow big buds!!There are various ways to collect pollen. The male must always be isolated so you can control what females are pollinated etc...
Considering the micro grow concept you could Remove it's apical mainstem, submerge the branch in a glass of water and flower under 12/12. Or even better two 2 Liter bottles fit into one another so the bottom catches pollen as it falls. Save a small sack of pollen, shake it into a zip lock bag, cover a flowering female branch, shake, wait 2 hours, shake and remove. The female branch will then produce your new seeds.
