okay so after harvesting the purple diesel early (6 1/2 weeks flower) due to some banana's i only ended up with a 1/4 ounce of smoke-able bud..... but for my first ever harvest and the nute lockout's I've been dealing with i couldn't be happier....
plus i have 2 blue dreams to go still:weed:
here's some pics of the early purple diesel, 1st plant in the first picture, harvest pics, drying and then going in for curing...she was just starting to really show signs of turning purple too....next time i guess.

grown in FFoF soil, 4 150watt equivalent CFL's, and fed miracle grow bloom booster( i know, i know)

I believe I had a zinc def. which may have lock out iron or mag too... But being a rookie at this I'm not sure but was told this late into flower any attempt to fix he issue wouldn't really resolve itself be4 they would be ready to harvest. I'm happy with my yield but had these girls been totally healthy I could only imagine the weight these things may have been able to pack on.

Did you harvest early becuse of the nanners???? I think I would have, and do, when this issue shows its ugly face, just let em go. Pretty much the damage is already done. Cloneing has already taken place. So if the issue that cause the hermi happened after cloneing chances are it won't pass on. If you where worried about pollinating other plants, you can just take tweezers and pluck these babys out. Once I did an experiment where I culled those COUPLE of seeds out of the few buds that had viable bowl ordinance. I germinated them and came up with all fems then I took those dried on a paper nanners and inserted them into a bud that I marked with a ribbon. After the harvest, I culled those seeds. All where big fat mammas. I grew them out and came up with 9/9 fems, all of wich through awsome psudos, all unique from each other. So.. my advice is let them go they aren't going to lose as much potency from the interupted preg. Going another week or so probably would not have effected your crop to much. By the way congrats on the grow I think the girl looked awsome, Keep up the good work. peace

By the way I would do away with the miricle grow product even cutting the feeding to 1/4 may cause the root lock out. Did all your leaves go pale? A liitle worrysome wilting of new leaves? these are just a few problems associated with these products. You probably should just look into the basics. Try some good earth organic products if you want to go off the shelf the blood meal, 12-0-0 the bat gauno 3-10-1 and pot ash 0-0-9 these work well the instructions on the back of the box are easy to follow and they don't generaly cause lock-out problems. I don't usually even flush these products because they don't build salts.

Good for your first. Did light leek in during your dark period??? (has to be 100% dark)

I had the bananas and was upset also.

We learn as we grow........:eyesmoke:

I don't think I have any light leak but I figured it was because of all the lockout issues I had.

Anything is good in the begining...enjoy. Remember the trick is in the soil and how to play with the bacteria and fungi. You learn that and how to supercrop....dude, you'd be the man.
