1st Grow With CFLs

all looks real healthy but can see some heat stress good luck

yes they have been dealing with high heat thier entire life i think they'll be fine
also the stems are turning red and a few leaves show problems but allthe new growth looks great so i dont worry.

You could try this as a quick fix
I use to make fan blow heat away from the tops of the plant.

interesting, i might try it but i recently found the sweet spot in fan positioning, i have one fan on the right side blowing to the side of the plants toward the left, and on the top left i have my inline exhaust, and it works well.

experts out there, can someone tell me how much longer i should expect to flower? the strain reported for 50 flowering days, but this is CFLs, less than optimal, etc.

I flushed the 2 plants that may be harvested after 2 weeks. I dont want the buds to be nasty from the nutes. Iiiiick!

nice man lookin lovely im going to flush mine too about 2 weeks before harvest mines still budding up now another 3 weeks should do it. your plants lookin real nice whats she smelling like now?

That is 39 days from 12/12 to be accurate, they started showing pistils 25 days ago though.



They smell wonderful... sometimes she smells like candy and sometimes she smells like skunk.

It looks like the colas are starting to grow fatter instead of taller now.

What exact brand of CFL's are you using? Lumens, watts, actual watts, and estimated cost would be very helpful.

hey guys i got some bad news, my rec. had expiration date of 9/2011 but the real expiration is 9/10 and was the doctors mistake of writing that. so im renewing my rec tuesday, i took down my grow room and the 2 maturest plants with it cause i wanted to play it safe, more updates soon..we still got the ex-mom tho!

So I've gotten it renewed and here is an update.
This is the mother plant that was FIM'd also... how is it looking? I guess it has at least 2-3 weeks left.

She is lookin good and healthy as always. I added the 125W 6500k wing in, I figured why not? It probably would help.

Well I am a damn newbie so I trimmed a lot of the smallest buds off the bottom and some of the branches down there too hoping it would increase the growth of the top buds unfortunately it's either growing slower or just too hard to notice growth. Also in trying to get bud sites closer to the lights I bent a couple stems, so I put foil tape bandaids on them which seem to be working fine. Who knows anyway there is still 2 weeks left of growth, I will be happy with 1.5 oz but if that is too high of hopes let me know. If anyone has any tips to have better yield at harvest, please tell me =D
