1st grow unknown strain.

this is my first grow with a mh 600 watt veg right now switching to a 1000 watt hps for flowering. i have 7 girls how would i got about this 3 under the 600 wat hps with 4 under 1000 wat? here are pics they are almost 2 months old from seedlings

btw i am using co2, soil, diamond nectar, bcuzz root and grow, floranova grow, floralicious grow, fox farm grow big, 6.3 ph, 900 ppm feeding right now, diamond nectar, super thrive, and neptune hydrolized fish and seasweed.

? any suggestions?

looks good seems like u got it under control.my buddy had plants that looked just like those and they ended up growin to 6ft tall sativas,good luck

yeah there 2 months old i checked them this morning and wow the indis shot out about 2-3 inches. idk what do do about lighting i want to get a big yield but i cant use to much electricity because i dont want to get caught lol. I have 2 1k ballast with 2 1k hps hortilux bulbs. as of right now i am using a 600 mh with a adjustable wing and the light is about 14-16 in away from plant. should i got with two 1k hps or 1 1k hps with a 600 hps? idk help lol like i said this is my first time. does the indi that i have a pic of up close look like it needs zinc?

well the obvious answer is the 2 1000w but if ur worried bout electric do the 1x1000 and 1x600

would i yield more if i use more light? how should i go about it? should i hang 1k from roof to be above plants and then put a 600 on the side and rotate plants every now and then? i need the most efficient way. Btw capt. thanks answering this.
Does a radio really help them grow? i got classical music going and its driving me crazy. lol

ur welcome, i dont think music helps but i would try some marley or some eek a mouse.haha but idk about mounting a hps side ways never seen it done.the 2x1000 would yeild more yes.

but how would i set them up just hang both of the sided by side from roof with all my girls centered out?

btw 600 hps on the side if possible would deliver 150/lpw vs 1k 145/lpw

why dont u use all of them???yes i would hang them next to each other if possible,and mabey hang the 600 sideways???along with the 2x1000 watters.

it would be noticeable to the power comp. and i dont want to get caught. How spread out should my girls be? and when should i start to flower? People say sativa grows faster than indica buy my indi girls are way bigger

Another question I got is do you add all the nutes every other feeding or do you uys like to water with some nutes and then water with the rest in another 2-3 days with the rest which is then follwed by a pure water with a bit of diamond nectar ?

ok so i guess i have decided that i am going to use the 1 1k over the top and a 600 on the side. im going for a big yield. what do you guys think about putting t5s all around the room to get growth from the side rather then a 600 watt hps which is more electricity lol. there getting so big so fast. i will put more pics up in a day or two.

I'd get some fluorescent to sidelight instead of the hps.

If you think they are big now wait until you start flowering. They will grow another foot or two.

why would u prefer to use floros sixth? and another thing that hasnt been answered, when feeding do you add all the nutes in one feeding? i do and i am feeding at 1000 ppm right now. Also i have read a few things about superthrive that it isnt good whats up with that? i am using it :/

Well if you use the hps for side lighting you would have to constantly rotate the plants. You can put fluorescent around the grow area so every plants gets the side lighting.

Less heat so you don't have to worry about heat stress. Also you can use either low or high spectrum bulbs to suit your needs instead of only low spectrum with the hps.

As far as nutes go, when I feed I mix up 2 gallons and distribute among the plants.

I've only heard good things about superthrive. I only use it on my clones though.

In reference to Super Thrive, I came across a article that said that S.T. is bad for flowering. Im not to sure about it but just sharing it with ya.

so i got the 2 lights running and i transplanted and everything looks F++Ked up. the plants are curling down there and they got weird spots on them also the temp is hard to deal with!!! i also cloned a few of them could hthat be a big shock?

looks like its too hot
