You can get it cheaper elsewhere. Plus they have a single stickups, with scents that don;t sound too cloying...like NEUTRAL, WINTER, OCEAN, FOREST...

The new pics are beauties. I've been hoping you'd turn up so I could ask you if you wear uv protection glasses? Is it necessary?

Hey thanks for the link! I am also gonna try the ONA pro gel. I think part of the problem is the "fresh linen" scent of this ONA. Doesn't smell like fresh linen and bugs my wife! I will check out that link though!

As for the uv glasses, no I don't use them. I probably should wear something at times. When I am checking the ladies out for an extended time with my head in the cabinet, it looks kinda green when i come out.

I've heard ONA gel won't cut it.

Anyone use the VAPORTEK odor control products? Any recommendations on a scent to use?

Yeah doesn't seem to be the best solution for me! I am interested in that VAPORTEK!

Anyone ever try one of these for smell control? It has three carbon filters in it and is rated for a room up to 10 x 10

I was think about getting one cuz it seems like it would do the trick if you placed it right next to the cabinet or even just in the same room.

Also when did your ladies really start to smell? cuz i'm on day 31 from seed now and I have 6 of these plants growing and am afraid that the smell is going to get out of control in the next few weeks since you say yours smell and you only have 3 and becasue I also have no type of carbon filter at all yet.

I looked back and they started to get the sweet aroma at day 15. Definetley Could be a problem with six and no filter IMO. I'm still looking for something else to put in my room. Gotta please the wife!

Stuff looks amazing man, i'm on my 5th grow but its my first serious one and I am working on my first journal. I am growing one Green Goo plant that i'm flowering from seed because i got it late, and i have 4 xxx super skunk plants that have just started their 3rd week of flowering under a 400w HPS and some extra cfl's. I'm really interested in seeing what you get yield wise, I am considering doing some auto-flower strains next grow. I'm just wondering how the yield compares to a regular plant that veges for two months and then flowers for two months. If the yields were even close i would much rather grow auto-flower and be done in two months, just sucks that you can't really clone them. Check out my grow journal if you get a chance:

I'm trying to get estimates from people on what they think my yield might be, i'm shooting for two ounces per plant.

Ya mine has had that sweet aroma for a couple weeks now too but it has yet to get strong enough to make more of the house smell than just the one room as long as I keep the door closed. I'm sure my wife will start getting on my case though as soon as the smell starts getting stronger and entering the rest of the house.

Well I read some good reviews on this product so I would assume it works good but who knows for sure. But for $25 I'd say its worth a try. Other than that I do believe that bed bath and beyond has some carbon filter fans and so does home depot but they are more expensive and use more electricity cuz they are a fan and not just a filter. I had one of theirs and it worked good but I cant find carbon filter replacements for it cuz I bought it like 5 years ago and they discontinued it.

I first saw the VAPORTEK in this video. Those guys look like they know their shit. It runs on one D cell, btw.

Right on! Thanks for the video! You have convinced me to try the vaportek. A definate +rep for your help. Gonna place an order with HID-HUT(where I also got my light) tonight probably. If the dudes in that vid are using it in that space with that much bud, then I am pretty sure it will work for me too. Should keep the wife happy! Although today she finally took my advice and put the exhaust duct near a fan exhausting outside(also my medicating area lol), and kept the door closed. Voila no smell when I got home from work. Trust me this has been a touchy subject lately and I have been saying all along to move the ducting and to keep the door closed. Finally! But I am still gonna get the vaportek! Gotta get some pruning snips also. I am looking at some called Fiskars soft touch. I have read they are pretty good on another thread here. I like the idea of that aardvark trimmer also. You're welcome. Yeah, those guys had a bagful of tricks. I saw this and looked around for Vaportek prices, I saw it for $29 at a couple of places. Surprised me that
HidHut wanted $36. I just spoke with Denise at HidHut today, she's cool. Helped me order some stuff. I just got a few of the Vapotek discs and a holder, to figure
out if the smells are tolerable.

I'm gathering stuff with an eye on a halftime migration to probably Colorado so I can go about things the way you do, ie sanctioned. I need some
medicine but no mmj here. I'm hoping to find a way to use this gear I'm collecting without worries, but that may not be in the cards for awhile.

I don't understand why you have to be overly concerned with odors if you are legal?

BTW Ever seen one of these? I wonder if they're any good? I like the simplicity.

Where did you see it for $29.00? Yeah the people(Justin and Denise) are pretty cool at HID-HUT! I have emailed Justin numerous times, and he has always been helpful!

I started saving loot and also piecing it together along the way. I had some patience knowing that my time to grow would be soon.

I have to be concerned about odors because of special circumstances. Only for about a year and a half then it's out of the closet and into a grow room! lol
I've seen the vaporgenie online. Don't know anyone who has one though.

This place has the Vaportronic for 29.99. I can't remember where else it was I saw it.

HigH everyone. Today is the start of week 9, and better yet 5 days from harvest! Hell's Yeah! Last night I bought some Fiskar's pruning snips with the micro tip blades at the home depot for $10.90. I am sure they will do the job here in the next few days. I used them this morning while the ladies were out of the cabinet. Got rid of some dead foliage and took a look at the trichomes of all three ladies. I was able to pull a hustle and I got an Edmunds Scientific microscope out of the deal. Sure does make it easy to check out the trich's on those leaves I snipped! I also broke out the hand held and checked the trich's also. I am seeing amber and milky trich's from different areas of each lady. It has been five days since I flushed and they were dry this morning. I did give them a little drink today. About two liters each. In a few days I will turn the light out till harvest time! Dam I can't believe I am about to harvest my first grow! The bad ass thing to me is that my ladies aren't scraggly, they look and smell like the CHRONIC to me! I have wanted to do this for so long! I started out really scared and second guessing just about everything I did, but I am gaining confidence in my ability to grow my own CHRONIC medicine. I was worried if the light would perform as advertised, and to me it has! Like I said this is my first ever grow, so I can't compare my LED to a mh/hps system. What I do know now is that an LED light will grow CHRONIC medicine! Of course I still have to harvest, cure and smoke but I have no doubt I am gonna be ripped on Thanksgiving! LOL! After all my goal was to be smoking my first crop on Thanksgiving, and it looks like I will meet that goal. I can't wait to hook up a few friends with some nuggs! I want some feedback good or bad, and of course I will post a smoke report from my friends and I. Anyway thanks for following and here are some pics from this morning. Enjoy!
