1st grow, more on the way, are they ready?

I have 9 plants right now that I started in July. They are now finally budding, and look awesome. For lights I used 3 6500K 100 watt equiv. spiral bulbs from Wally-world, when I moved them to a larger tub, I went to 9 bulbs in a grid pattern, like tic-tac-toe. All the bulbs are wired up and plugged in with an extension cord. As the plants grew closer to the bulbs, I raised the light structure higher and higher. When they were about 3 ft, I went to 12/12 lighting, same bulbs, and they began to flower. I have added nothing but dirt, water, seeds, and a small amount of Miracle Grow. My next batch are in a nicer room, set up simple and efficient.

Things I know I screwed up on:

Use better bulbs
Use different spectrum bulbs for grow & flower
Use 1 pot per plant, all 9 were in a single tub, which I think explains the tallness and space between branches and buds.

Also I know using 1 pot per plant will also make more bud down low.

How do these look? Are they ready?

looking nice man, but i like you still have some time left. most of those white hairs should turn orange/brown and recede back into the bud alittle

Wait, I cut mine on my first grow when they looked like that. Live and learn. You will get some smoke from this, but be patient man. Remember, everything takes longer with sub-par lighting. I assume your using floros, get this done, get you some lights, and research a good fert for you to use. Its a hobby, and one I love, and with excellent benifits:):)

Yeah thats what I figured I'd do, use my first crop to snag some more equipment, then I'll be set except for nutes and usable things. My thought is yes, perfect pot is a goal, but I didnt have some before, and now I do so its all good.:joint:

Like I said, 1st time. Maybe August. I just let them grow till I was like WTF and changed the lights and BAM I had bud. So, is it ok to cut off fan leaves? they are pulling my trees down.

Well, thats why I posted up, to find this stuff out. So, is it too late to clone these? I saw you need to take a cutting before flowering, so it might be too late. I have some more seeds from this strain, so if necessary I can grow from seed again, but if I can clone that would be better. This is how I was told: cut off a branch, shave it to expose the core of the branch, dip it in Rootin, and put it in the dirt. But I also saw a guy who put the cutting into a cup of water, and roots sprouted out, and he planted it. So which is it? What branch do I cut? Can I cut the bud off this one, re-veg it, and then cut a branch off? I don't know these things.

looking good i would say play it by eye. how much orange can you see? if its 60% covered shes done!:bigjoint:
This is bad advice and is false. You cannot tell simply by the color of the pistils, idiotic. Dont beleive everything you hear this guy is a dumbass.

It still needs at least 2 weeks no doubt bud could use more than 2 weeks. The visible trichomes that look liek sugar, will start to turn amber and the pistils will have receded into the buds.
