1st Grow Journal

I have been growing on and off for a few years, but now that I have my medical card I have been working on a more professional system. I have a veg room which is 36”x36” in it I have 8, 24” T5s. My flower room is 36”X48” I have a 600w HPS and plan to add a 400w HPS when I get enough plants going to fill it up.
This is my first grow from a seed, I have always used clones till this point. I germinated the Super Silver Haze seed I got for a Christmas gift, and once the tap root was about ¾” long I dropped it into the soil, when I came home from work today It had broken through the soil, so I put it in my veg. room which currently has 7 other clones at various stages. I am very excited as this will be the first plant I have taken from start to finish (if all goes well and it’s not a male). I will try to update every week or 2.

Dam man I wish my camera was that good. I will be watching this thread as we are growing pretty close to the same setup and I am just a few weeks ahead of you Subscribed. Good luck

I have not been keeping real good track of how much, I mist and pour a little form the bottle into the soil, just enough to keep it wet, but not enough to get any discharge. No luck on the new seeds yet!

If you watered less your plant would grow faster and would be bigger. Try to allow the soil to almost completely dry out before watering (roughly 3-4 days depending on the lights) I have (2) 150w hps, (6) 26w cfl. and (2) 100w blue spec grow lights. I keep my temps around 80*F all the time so my soil holds up well enough for me to water once every 3 / 4 days. Allowing the soil to dry some before watering lets more O2 in for the roots and plant to grow larger.

Yes I know, my flower room gets water every 8-12 days, I let it get bone dry before I water, I will work this one to that point, but as it is in a VERY small pot It cannot hold much water. As it grows I will increase how much water I give and also increase the time between watering. As of now I’m watering every other day and misting 2 times a day.

Sweet dude.. She's lookin beaut. I plan on throwing mine into flower soon.. Some of my plants are starting to show sexing signs so I feel their ready. Their not as tall as I would like them to be but I feel they should give me a satisfying amount. Who knows though. The strains I am growing are supposed to be monsters lol.

I plan to veg her for a long time. I got another seed to pop,it's going into soil so I will include that in my update this weekend.

It's week 3 and things still look great! I started to mix some nutes into the feeding over the last week I’m at about 25% strength right now, but am going to slowly work that up to full strength. I also will be transplanting into a 5 gal. pot tomorrow I hope (wanted to do it today but got tied up in wild-card weekend).
I got 2/3 AK-47 seeds to pop so I am going to include them as part of this journal.

Now on to the pics…

I can’t complain about anything to this point, plant looks great. I was not able to put this plant in a 5 gal bucket liked I hoped, I did not have the space in my veg area, so it will have to wait till next week when I flower some more and make room for it. I was lazy today and did not want to take it out of the room and pose it like I normaly do you are looking at the plant in the smaller pot that is sitting on the rims of the larger 5gals. Then I took it out to cut the top off and watered so I took a few more pics. As far as the AK-47’s 1 looks really good while the other one does not look so hot, I’m not to concerned about it as I could just be a fussy plant, we will see how it grows over the next week,
Here are some new pics for those who are following along.

I'm still following bro. I just topped mine the other day and their not looking too happy but they are recovering and starting to show signs of looking up again so I'm losing some worry. I just found a preflower or so it looks and it's somewhat in the shape of a male but I'm not sure yet. We will see after I start flowering them which will be very soon. The cuttings I took are starting to show signs of rooting so that's good. The plants you have there are looking very nice man very nice indeed. I think they're almost ready for topping. Only a couple more nodes til that time though. Looking good bro keep it up
