1st grow. it's time to harvest or not? please some tips

hi there. is my first grow and everything is fine until now but i have one AUTO THC BOMB and on the seller website it tells it will take 60 day from seed to harvest. my plant is in the 69 day now and i dont know if is ready to harvest or not. from all plants this is the only one with loose buds, i dont know why because the conditions are almost perfect, but maybe is the genetic. some buds have many brown pistils but a lot of buds are still have white pistils. i will post some pictures here with the plant and the trichomes and i wait some suggestions . thank you very much in advance.

in the 3th picture are some buds from under the plant and in the last picture i took a shot of the bud (it is very loose)

so when you guys think is time to harvest for this plant?

Sup mate, welcome to rollitup. I've only done a few auto grows but usually when it says 60days means 74days plus, last 2 weeks are when alot of autos make a last push and fatten up alot! I would wait til day 80 odd. I can't be too sure on looking at the plants as I'm no pro grower, but I think the triches are alot there. Pistol colour is just a rough way to guess when to chop, and now with so many cross bred auto strains it's alot less accurate. As this is your first grow I'll tell you that alot of people turn the lights off atleast 24 hours before they harvest to increase resin. Good luck man looking at growing these next so want to see how they go.

Run them longer ... Breeder estimate is under optimal conditions ... REAL WORLD results will be longer. Technically , your actual 69 days is ( 30 day of veg / preflower ) and ONLY 39 days of actual flower.

You got at least another month of growing.

do you think i can feed them with nutrients another 2 weeks? and after 2 weeks to give them only water? i dont want to finish with amber trichomes and less potent buds. thank you very much

Not a bad lookin plant, she should fatten up well.

My little lappy isnt the best but looks like the trichomes are all clear to me, so a bit to go yet.

Here is an example : Auto Marmalate ( i'm running right now )

Breeder info :
Genetics: 70% indica / 30% sativa
THC: 20-21%
Production: 350-500 g/m2 indoor, 400-600 g/plant outdoor
Harvest time: 50-55 days indoor ----- ( BULLSHIT ! )

My plant is Day 63 from seed but ACTUAL TIME is :
( 30 days Veg/preflower ) and ( 33 days Flowering )
Total : 63 days

So based on that i'm REALLY only 4 weeks into flower not
what the breeder estimate specs say it should be. I count the actual weeks flowering when it is in full flowering stage not time from seed. It still had some stretch left in her and is now just about 36" tall .
I have plenty of time left for her to add weight. At least 3 weeks or so.



This is where not being patient cuts down on a better yield and product.
Let them run and stick to watching the triches ( then you will know when she is mature to harvest )

Keep feeding her, what the breeder says on your seed pack is not accurate, keep her growing until you see the real factual signs that she is ready such as, white pistils will turn amber and many will recede into buds, the harvest time will show on your trichs color, that will be the time to harvest.

i need another opinion about another plant Girl Scout Cookie autoflower. the plant is in the 86 day and i want some opinion about the harvest. i made some pictures but i still see clear trichomes. so is time to harvest? or how long until the harvest? thank you very much.

^now that looks like one that's days from reaping.

make sure to buy a Halloween black hooded costume. its scares and extra .4% THC out of them.

i want to flush my plants before harvest. can i have an opinion? can i begin to water only with clean water? or to feeder again until i see the trichomes milky and after give clean water for 2 weeks? please some help here

Based on the long white hairs all over your first set of pictures, that plant has another 4 weeks to go. You can provide flowering nutes for 2 weeks, the fresh water for 2 or you can give them nutes up through your last feeding before harvest.

Your second set of pics look much closer to harvest, maybe one more week.

i made a set of pictures yesterday to the trichomes from the first plant from the post, i can see some of day are milky but i still can see clear trichomes. tell me your opinion please based on trichomes pictures. the first set of pictures are fron 29 April and this pics are from yesterday.

When you look at the trichomes, look at the calyx, not the sugar leaves. The leaves are always a couple of weeks ahead of the buds. I've had leaves that had 40% amber trichs while the buds had none.
