1st Grow- Blue Cheese, Amnesia Haze, A5 Haze, Silver Haze, OG Kush

It seems like you can, but it might be a bit of a messy job. Some CFs are riveted shut, so not all of them are re-fillable. Just unscrew the top and replace the carbon, making sure its nice and compact- doesn't sound too hard and probably a lot cheaper.

Not too far to go now ! There all growing nicely, a couple are showing slight burn't tips so we backed off the nutes a little bit. Gonna start the flush on the smallest plant, which unfortunately theres no photos of (ran out of battery), next watering. Our Amnesia Haze looks as if it will finish a lot sooner than the 12 weeks the company said, there's already about 10% brown pistils. There are some close-ups, any ideas how long it will be from now?

The Blue Cheese buds are almost blue when snapped with the flash. We think they all look beautifull, we hope you agree, if only you folks could smell them!

Cheers Gorlax, I'm really enjoying the blue colouring you see under the flash, makes them look tastier! Did any of yours turn out a little blue? My room-mate had an unfortunate accident involving bicycles and alchohol, the 2 don't mix very well- He's in a cast for another month or so but he's gonna be so immobilised when we harvest anyway he'll most likely forget he's in a cast I hope everyone else is receiving beautiful weather!

The plants are all looking healthy, aside from the yellowing/dying of quite a few fan leaves. The buds are swelling up really nicely and getting pretty frosty

We pulled a bamboo cane out of the soil to support the SSH and found a really small worm/maggot(possibly fungus gnat) thing on it , should we be worried? That plants buds/ leaves look healthy, and the rate of growth hasn't slowed. The only thing is, its the most sativa and probably needs another 4-5 weeks.

Can anyone have a guess at when the Amnesia will finish, it looks like its got about 30-40% brown pistils? We're thinking to just feed water from now, but were not sure. The small cheese looks like its got about another week maybe, anyone?

keep the mutes goin storage for now. I'm no expert but I know it's too early to flush and will hurt yield

I don't consider flushing until into the mid fifties days of flowering and I grow mostly pure indica. You can pretty much expect to go two weeks longer then the breeder states on most strains to get full ripe budz

Cheers DankBudz, we cut out the nutes on the smallest cheese plant because it looks as if it will be done by 8 weeks (monday by our count)! I suppose we got lucky with this pheno, its a shame we couldn't clone it. The trichs are all milky/amber, there's only a few white pistils and were eager to smoke that shit! Its the plant with the yellow wilting leaves.

We noticed an increase in growth rate when we started flushing the small Blue Cheese so we decided to flush all the plants with plain water, to remove any excess salts/ correct the sols ph. We still have a little nute burn on our medium sized cheese, so we thought it needed a good rinse!

We also took a small sample bud from the early cheese, just drying it out as we speak! Has anyone got any ideas to speed up the drying process without damaging taste/potency too much? I find drying it on a light makes it taste a little shitty

Nice works... What did the Shining taste like.. It should be 9 weeks flower... from Royal.. I got 3 and are going to do them.. will post a reply in a couple months with updates.
