moving tomorrow and thursday... not looking forward to it I might say :) chopped what was left of the bagseed cindy... not much, trichs milky at best(after 12 full weeks of flowering, since first pistils, but not worth moving the whole thing, its bagseed..

IcedG looks about the same a couple of closeup pics this morning and we're still in a much less than 10% amber stage(9 weeks flowering)

was looking at the coletrain since i got to rotate the plants better since I got rid of the bagseed. The coletrain has put on a couple of nice side buds when I wasnt looking, pistils look like they might be starting to go red also... right now just looking at the 2, Id say the coletrain will yield about half what the IcedG will, I could be wrong though

packing/moving day has arrived... acouple of pics of the Iced Grapefruit, main cola and a couple of the side buds, which Id say are about 1/4 the main cola volume

PS: IcedG is def starting to amber up, still large stretches of non-amber though, on a scale of 0 - 10 ambericity I'd give it a 2 overall ambericity

got the 2 girls moved last night, if they dont hermie from all this stress itll be a miracle, black plastic garbage bags, too tall for in the car so they laid on their side in the trunk, good god whata stink, seriously, havent had much smell off these two at all, but they made up for it last night! trying to get rid of all visible traces of the grow... moving(well everything really) always takes longer than you think..main goal is to get everything I cant move by myself moved today, basically everything but doodads and whatnots and clothes, all that little crap that seems to accumulate over time, thank god we've only been in here 3 years... another couple and i would have just had to shoot myself...

Those buds look nice and juicy. I hope you'll enjoy em immensely. I hope the move wasn't too much work. Theres nothing I hate worse than moving, or helping someone else move. I have the pleasure of the latter pretty soon. Maybe I should get medicate myself to make it more bearable haha.
well, thwy survived the move and are settling down since the smell has gone back to more normal levels and they are back on a schedule, shortened light perriod since I haven't had a chance to light proof and ventilate the cabinet.
Moving itself was hell, as ususal :)just little stuff left, but that last 20% always takes just as much time as the first 80% it seems.
took a couple of closeups last night with the f lash, they look so frosty under the flash... ambericity is still at about a 2 Id say... did look more cloudy, but that could have been the flash, normally I take pics under the CMH so thats what I'm used to looking at. will post new pics tomorrow... they did undergo about 24 hours of darkness before they got light again, might have been 36, my mind is fuzzy... even if it hermies one of them the Iced G is close enough it shouldnt hurt too much, the coletrai eh, we'll see but you do what you got to do in life. and yeah medication would have helped but trust me the minute the movers are gone we were on it :)

finally got internet stabel at the new place...ambericity is about 10% I'd say on the IcedG (not sure why I thought it was more the other day, might have hit a ripe spot) , didnt check on the coletrain. maybe a week on the IcedG ? will post pics tomorrow ...

well,my internet was still going in and out most of the week, they finally had to come back out and fix it but its good finally.... ambericity is growing, not fast enough for me though
maybe 15% on the iced g, lessthan 5% on the coletrain, though pistils seem predominantly brown now, theyve been on a shortened light scheule here, cant really light proof so I have them in light for about 9-10 hours...thanksgiving coming up and another major branching point... they will have to be in darkness for about 72 hours starting tuesday night((3 days from now... have someone coming to let the dogs out and cant let them see the light so to speak... the iced g should be harvestable by then(a week frm today) but not sure if I can resume flowering after a long period of darkness?

had to cut the main cola on the Iced G, lost about half of it, mold of course... will definitely lst and supercrop early next time to avoid the super large cola, all the side buds seem ok as far as mold goes, coletrain seems ok too, will probably chop the Iced G tuesday night, leave coletrain in the dark for 3 days and see what it looks like when i come back friday... about 60 grams wet on the remaining parts of the main cola... humidity at lights out is the culprit I think...was 60% when I turned the lights outt, usually in the 30s with light on...down to 61F at night too.... live and learn I guess...

Damn what a shame sorry to hear that

thanks, well like I said, live and learn, need to watch my night time humidity better I think...that plus all the stress plus the supercropping has this iced g at 14 weeks in 12/12 and Id say its just the last week or so, amaybe the last 2 weeks the mold popped up.... same thing happened to the bagseed, but again not till after about 12-13 weeks floweering.. the coletrain is ok so far, one of its supposed qualities is resistance to mold... we'll see right offhand I think the coletrain is at least 10 weeks in 12/12

still trying to decide what to do, I was going to harvest the Iced G side buds tomorrow but am now leaning towards just leaving them in the dark for 3 days with the coletrain and then seeing what the ambericity is looking like, pretty sure the coletrain needs another week at least(after I get back) just have to keep up on mold patrol with it, very dense nugs on the coletrain, however it also is supposed to be pretty mold resistant... so far so good... JINX!!111!!!!AAARRGGGHHH...

ahhh.... thats what I like to see, went home over lunch and checked on heat and humidity and gave the IcedG a going over...now, the calyxes are swelling and hairs receding ... this is more like it... still a few days, def will let them go till friday at least...we'll keep checking on the mold just in case....

My Iced Grapefruit is in day 10 i think i defently have 2 different types One is Tall and Bushy and the other is Small and Bushy.
The tall one has grown almost past my light so i moved her to the side a little next time i will have to bend or something lol my mistake for slacking anyway looking forward to some pics

The grow looks amazing! Sorry to hear about the mold that sucks but lesson learned right lol? I just started a little grow setup recently nothing too big just an experiment with some bagseed and my poor little seedlings didn't have the light close enough so they stretched about an inch and a half but I corrected the problem and hopefully it's all good haha. If mine come out looking half as good as yours I'd be happy! :D

I'll get some pics up thisa weekend I've been taking mostly macro shots looking at ambericity...
I've been thinking about why the pot seems to be of a lesser strebgth than I thought it would be
1) obviusly, being a newb,Im not waiting long enough
2) curing, I do have some of my bagseed side buds that have been jarred for a month, smokoed some the other day and was pleasantly surpised, still mids Id say but compared to how early it was picked and these were the popcorn nugs mostly,it was ok, but thats about it
3) the move... I theorize: Ive read that baggies plastic attracts trichs and they actually melt into the plastic, well, when i moved them, I had them in plastic garbage bags...there goes a bunch of trichs...then, thinking back, when I moved them into the closet because of light leaks, I covered them every night in plastic garbage bags... double whammy?

The reason Im thinking tis way is I seem to see a large number of trichome stalks with no head in my macro shots, disturbiignly so... and then I read about grinder hash? where you grind pot up in a coffee grinder and the plastic lid attracts the trichs and you scrape it off the lid... so the move? I really should have scraped the plastic bags :) cardboard boxes next time, actually it was at literally the last moment i nixed the idea of the boxes cause they wouldnt have fit in the car.

More lessons learned. All that having been said, I'm testing the Coletrain this morning> Got back yesterday afternoon and got the plants re-situated took a bunch of macros which is where I started thinking about the "Mystery of the Headless Trichs"... "A new novel starring frank and joe hardy, nancy drew and trixie belden in their first adult novel!!!"
hmmmm... the coletrain, quick dried is not bad, still not blowing me away but... not bad, still only about, say half strength to what I want? about an hour later, anice quiet buzz is how Id describe it

sidebuds:IMG_3816 (Custom).JPGIMG_3811 (Custom).JPGIMG_3813 (Custom).JPG

again, I say... I think Ill harvest the IcedG this week... picked one big bud for mold, early so I saved most of it, I just see more probs with mold so Ill watch it closely this next few days.
The Coletrain, supposed to be rsisatant to mold, so far so good, knock on wood... definitely a week or two behind the IcedG, high I tested was pretty nice, not strong enough maybe but I liked it, head high, but not trippy just kind of expansive?
