1st grow, 2 weeks on....

  • Ok so here is a quick update 2 weeks on...

    As you can see, she has come along great in 2 weeks


    The high temp was because of the stupid UK weather( 2 toasting days of it) with my bedroom soaking it up all day. Prob now solved, and YES missnu, those 2 fans work perfect
    . I also have 2 x 120mm pc ones at the top exhausting, suprisingly very quiet which pleases the missus.

    At the moment she is exactly 12" tall. At what point would people reccomend "topping", would like her to get 2 about 4ft if poss?

    Was watered day of pic 5 days after last watering.

Ok, so tonight i have now topped her, and trimmed a couple of the lower leaves. Looking good so far so hope she carries on growing happy :)

Will post pics in the morning before lights on.

Still need advice about taking a cutting if people have any suggestions.

Tomorrow will be the start of 3rd week of veg under my 400 hps.

About 3-4 weeks old at the moment so very pleased to get this far lol.

So how's she looking to you guys?

Ok so the first thing i see is wasted light. you should have put 3 more plants in there. If you are trying to do a scrog grow then you need to start training your plant and topping alot. i recommend using a trellis, you can make an easy one out of string, this will help expose your plant to more light allowing you to get a better yield. what nutrients are you using?

Yeah, i understand the waste of light. Did have 4 to start with but my growing skills whhere very limited so 3 never made it :(

As for a scrog, never thought about it. Im not sure what heights indica's grow to but want to maximise the space available if poss.

Ive used no nutes upto this point apart from what's in the soil mix. I do have access to nutes if needed but am not confident on using them as dont wanna fook this one up as its my last one till i can get more seeds or a decent cutting.

You need to use nutes!!!! you need to go to your local hydroponic shop and pick up a bottle of base nutes at least. or some high nit bat guano or something. if you dont use nute your plant will become deficient and your growth will be really slow and yeilds very small.
