1st grow, 1st question

whats happnin? is it really important to have atleast some perlite in your soil? Does it make things alot easier? Also if watering by hand how often should each plant be watered?

perlite helps prevent overwatering and increases aeration.. you can get away without it of course, but be careful not to over water... water when your container drys out all the way down.
