1st grow 10th week

Ok so here's what I got going on I'm on my 10th week of flower I had it vegging for 4 weeks. Growing in regular potting soil miracle grow in a 3 gal pot (small I know) with 11 Cfls (10 26 actual watts and 1 65 actual watts) been feeding dyna-grow do not plan on flushing (which I heard is a myth) I'm not asking if it's done I'm just wondering if anyone would help with some tips or tell me what I'm doing wrong. I've checked the tricomes and mostly all cloudy I haven't seen any Amber yet. I'm hoping another 2 weeks or maybe 1.image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

A soil recipe that is 100% organic and that never put chemicals on. Find a book called Teaming with Microbes and then with that knowledge do a search for soil recipes. Organic everything and if you have a problem address it organically too. Not organic bottled nutrients I fell for that nonsense. I put 4 plants into flower using my new knowledge and I have never seen flowering plants look so healthy. I will try to grab a photo later I finally have something I am super proud of in dirt.

totes better then my very first grow, from seed. 120w GE grow bulb, hanging from a broken lamp in a refrigerator box. w/ dirt from my back yard.

anyways

you need to top and train your plant early.

I feel with this light set up: maybe a vertical grow might have been an idea.

for that tent, add a couple more, if your laws are applicable.

save for more lights, pots, and can fan, if you don't have one.

I think you did pretty good for first time.:bigjoint:

take your time in your curing, too self-grown smoke is a very gratifying experience.

Yea that's my biggest concern is the curing process I've been out looking for a hygrometer but yet to find a small enough one I'll prolly just order it online, but yea for my second grow Ill have everything ready by the time this is finished

Yeah your doing great for what you have. You will see when you upgrade thats it definitely worth it. Sounds like you have a good plan, keep up the good work.

I'm in the middle of week 13 and I've noticed a lot of new growth, new white hairs. Checked the tricomes and they are mostly cloudy I wouldn't say I've seen much Amber tho. I've noticed from other people's CFL grows that ladies tend to take longer underneath CFLs. I guess I'm just getting impatient cuz I need this tent for the other 3 ladies in veg. I can upload pics later I'm out at the moment but does anyone have any suggestions so I don't screw up this grow.

You're ready for a big boy light. That is a phenomenal plant for having been grown with CFL's and Miracle Grow.

Good job man!

If you keep with the CFL's I bet you could make a great scrog! But honestly I'd much rather see what you could do with a 250W or higher HPS system. :)

Bagseed? If you're seeing new white hairs it's most likely because your plant has a lot of sativa in it and the second set of hairs mean the end is coming soon.

Any chance you could veg your others outside until the one in your tent is done? I just have a little seedling on the front porch, no one would no what it was unless they came up onto the property to inspect it.

My first grow with CFL's wasn't bad. My plant looked like yours. The only thing I regret was chopping early. I could smoke a whole joint and feel nothing. The longer you wait the more potent it will be under CFL's. It is worth it trust me.

You're right man! Unfortunately I harvested my little CFL plants early too. They had swollen some but the leafs were dying so fast it didn't seem to stand much of a chance so I cut it. Even without a proper cure it still smoked better than anything I could buy for cheap off the streets.

CFL has power when used correctly!

Yes bagseed, hopefully when I get a better setup I'll order some seeds.
And yes I have my 3 other ladies in a nightstand vegging. They actually just started a couple days ago so I can let them go for another 3 weeks in there

That's what I'm afraid of I don't wana chop this one early, but with no genetics I don't know the actual flowering time.

I chopped a couple of the lower sets of budz let them dry for about 3 days, placed them into a jar this morning. I'm really hoping these turn out ok. I'm really debating on chopping her I know it might be a lil early for her but I'm ready to get rid of this CFL setup. image.jpg
I really wana know the deal with the hairs why they have no bag appeal or is this just what it looks like during the cure stage
