1st DWC with 85w CFL's

hey whats up everyone this is the 1st time I've done DWC aka bubbleponics.

I started off with soil went thru the PH whoas and plants owes and all that fun stuff, so i decided to take the knowledge Ive learned and apply is to a more lucrative way of doing things.

Reasons why im doing DWC is because Ive heard that
1. plants grow quicker this way
2. its easier to maintain then messy soil (which is about the only thing i hated about it)
3. bigger yields? hopefully lol

right now i have about 4 different strains 1. Blackjack 2. Master Kush 3. AK-48 (all feminized from nirvana) and about 10 unknown clones i have taken from a friend.

10g tubs are being used. (blackjack and ak48 are on the tub to the left, Master Kush is on the tub to the right)
the 1st two tubs you will see are the Blackjack, MK, and AK they are about 2 weeks old and belive it or not i actually got TWINS from my master kush. (i hear this has been happening pretty frequently lately, nirvana must be using to much viagra:hump:)
currently on 1/3 strength nuts, ph of water is 5.9, and ppm is 450.
lights are 85w CFL @ 6500k that put out 4,800lumens. 18/6 cycle

The other tub with the bigger plants are the clones that are 3 weeks old.
right now i have them on 2nd day of forced flower 10/14 (will change to 12/12 tomorrow) under 85watt 3000k 5,000lumens CFL's.
they are also on 1/3 nute as the other plants are.
I just wanna see if they male or female then im gonna revert back to vegging and clone like the mad scientist.

All the tubs i have are self contained and i drain and fill every 2 weeks (so far so good)

if anyone got comments or suggestions please let them rip.

Dammmn looking good I'll be keeping a eye on it, excited to see the blackjack mine didn't pop

thanks man.....

yeah i made a couple of mistakes but im learning, you could tell from looking @ the plant size and also i realized that taking the plant out of the rockwool when i transfer from dome to tubs is way better then leaving them in the rockwool. I also learned not to transfer them from dome to tub to early or they suffer serious pms. lol

I checked out your grow its defiantly looking good....those roots gonna take off soon! what size tub you using now?

man almost 24hours later and these things got way bushier and bigger.
I even did a little FIM on the AK 48

oh yea btw i have some spotting i was wondering if you guys might know what that could be?

i have spotted a few bugs (small white flies) but killed them those mother f'ers

they're prolly from the bugs. Your plants look good and healthy.
Let em grow for a few days, if it shows up on more leaves and no bugs are spotted
you might want to start getting suspicious.
But I wouldn't worry yet.

hmmm thanks the magnesium is the 1st number on the nute scale right? ex 4-2-5
if thats the case i got some stuff called recover should take care of it.

the 4-2-5 is N-P-K or Nitrogen - Phosphorus - Potassium.
Cal or (Calcium) and Mag or (magnesium) are typically found in tap water. If you are using RO or distilled water then you might think about getting supplemental Calcium and Magnesium.

This is from wikipedia:

Fertilizers typically provide, in varying proportions:

The macronutrients are consumed in larger quantities and are present in plant tissue in quantities from 0.2% to 4.0% (on a dry matter weight basis). Micronutrients are consumed in smaller quantities and are present in plant tissue in quantities measured in parts per million (ppm), ranging from 5 to 200 ppm, or less than 0.02% dry weight.[1]

hope that helped

Peace and positive energy to you

well these bitches are looking nice and busty!!!! lol

well as you guys could see these things are about 3 times bigger then 9 days ago....you could barley even see the tubs n e more.

looks like the leaves are starting to lighten up in color a bit but i think they could go another 4-5days before i up the nutes and drain n fill tubs...

looks like its time for cloning!
