Background nfo...
Clones came from 3 mothers 9 days into flowering.
I cut 12
5.5 PH
A a "cake" dollar store hum dome (light spray with peroxide to prevent mold) at 90%, 77 Degrees F , low light
1/2 inch rockwool w/ clone powder, superthrive and mild GH gro soak
Six days later all are showing roots and look great!

Now.. I have six bubbleponics containers(net pots) Hydroton, bubble stones etc...
What should my water level be and GPH drip set to? R/O water? I have read contradicting info so I would appreciate if anyone w/ experience help me out.
Thanks

Usually around a inch below the base of the net pot. What size containters? Just rubbermaids? Also what is the ppm straight form your tap water?

I go 1/2'' - 1'' of water under the net pot. You really dont need a drip system and you should have roots within a week or two weeks. Might want to look into Cal/Mag if using R/O water too.

Thanks! 3.5" net pots and 3 5 gal buckets. No ppm meter yet but my tap is bad, it looks like skim milk and is hard water, just looking on Ebay saw this, would this be ok? PPM METER

In my opinion unless your tap water produces some nasty ppm levels, an r/o is a waste of money. My tap comes out at 150ppm which is perfect (especially for cal/mag) I only let my water sit out when Im doing entire rez changes.. when Im just doing small add backs, I dont even bother to leave it out for chlorine to evaporate.. water is water bottom line cant hurt plants like too many nutes do.. just be careful with that superthrive and all that other stuff

Yeah lots of people buy the cheaper PPM meters on EBay and have lots of success ..

Lots of people can grow without using R/O water and if it works well for you I say DO IT!! Going to Water and Ice store over and over again is tiresome but Santa Claus is gonna bring me a new R/O system I can hook up in my house!! I have read that some people have Tap at 50 PPM sometimes less.. But definitely let your tap water sit out for a day or two you want all that chlorine to evaporate.

yeah i use an oakton multiparameter stick ph/tds it was a little pricey but low maintenance and the batteries can be purchased at any electronic store for a few bucks i donno what nutes youre gonna be using but check into the hardwater gen hydro I hear that and the flra nova series works well i just am using lucas formula right now but as i said I have a low ppm reading

Yep General Hydroponics makes one of their 3 part products " Flora Micro for hard water " I use the GH line and love it so far.

Thx guys!, On a side note my I started adding 1 tbls./gal blackstrap molasses(on sale @ sunflower market $4.99) to my soil flowering babies and my P-K got a little boost and the plants seem to love it. LOL from urine,h202,molasses,mosquito dips for gnats...I really appreciate all the education here! My first grow failed but thanks to you all this one is great.
