Ok so got my setup together and ordered beans,in the meantime I found some bagseed and thought I would practice on that before they arrived. The bigger one sprouted on I think the 14th of this month. This is my first attempt so Im assumingSDC10858.jpg on transplanting the big one next week sometime to a bigger pot what do you guys think? Also the beans should get here in about a weeks Id say,SDC10859.jpg would I be better off waiting and just working on these two bag ones for now? I have two 4ft t12 65k's and about 6 cfls mix of 27 and 65k. my cSDC10857.jpgloset is like 7ft high and 7feet wide but the depth is only about two feet. Im thinking about holding off and seeing what comes of these first.

I usually don't transplant out of a party cup until the plant is at least 6 inches tall.

No need to hurry, as you want the plant to grow roots! Remember that almost half of the plant is the roots.

Here is how I transplant:

clone or seed in rockwool -> 4 oz cups -> 16 oz party cups -> 1 gallon pots -> 3 or 5 gallon pots, depending

At each transplant I want the plant to have roots to the bottom of the pot. Then they explode after each transplant.

Good Growing :weed:

Any thoughts on waiting on the seeds coming in? They should be here in about a week I'm guessing, But I dont think I have the room or the lighting for five plants, since I have alot of height in my closet and not much width I planned on letting these ladies get big.

Dude you can grow to 15" in a party cup.. the longer the better. The whole point is to let the rootball form at the base of the cup.

Golddog you transplant 4 times?? Its not neccasary imo, i go 9-12" in a party cup then transplant to 3 gallon pots and your done.

How strong of a light do you have?

Are you starting a Grow Journal so we can follow along? :bigjoint:

I do, but it depends. Usually at least 3 times.

I have separate boxes for cloning, vegging, mom's and flower. So it works for me. :bigjoint:

Just what i thought.
I'ts unnecessary to transplant so many times, one transplant from partycups to a 3 gallon container is good enough.

I plan on transplanting into like a two liter pot(bastards put the brand hydra farm but not the size) and from there a five gallon bucket. I would love to have like a 6ft tall beast in the closet lol

Yeah i say just let the cup get rooted for 2 weeks. Then go to your 5 gal... The more you transplant the more of a chance you have to mess anything up... keep it simple. Less stress on the plant the better
