1st/2nd Time Grower with pics

I guess I'll start with how I started. A few months ago i wanted to learn how to grow and i figured i would try out some bagseed i had. Anyways, for the first 2 months i stressed the HELL out of it(barely giving it light, and never on schedule; different watering times; it sat on my window sill for a week;i started out with about 10 but i ended up with 2, one ended up being a male.) Just to be clear this was my first time and i really just wanted to see how much this ''weed'' could handle. Anyways, i got my act together and you guys may say its not getting enough lights but for a 2 1/2 foot plant and 3 smaller plants, i think my 12 23watters + a t5 flourescent light should do ok. Anyways, that plant(her name is olivia) is flowering and it's looking good now, but my main problem are the 3 other plants. Now i started these 3 while Olivia had just started flowering so these plants were getting the t5 flourescent light 12/12 for about a week and a half(one plant (renee)is actually a week older than the other 2). they seem to love the light i'm giving them and they're now on a 20/4 schedule(olivia gets 12/12). anyways the new leaf growth is awesome, and theyre shooting up at a decent rate(of course i wish it would hurry) but i seem to have a few problems. on ONE plant(amanda) the first leaves that came out came in 3's, and then the next leaves came out in 3's also. quirky little amanda. anyways her leaves look GREAT and theyre bushy and full of life. my second and oldest of the three new plants is named renee. she's a week older than the other 2, and has more growth. here is where the problem is; she has new leaves all the time but the leaves are green and compact and droopy. also i swear it seems as if the leaves are too close together and barely have space to grow. my last plant is named jane. plane jane is growing at a decent rate, but while smaller than renee, she still has the same problem, although to a lesser extent. her leaves are droopy but are NOT NEARLY as compact and dry as renee. olivia(my big plant) drinks alot of water and i have to water her almost daily or else she droops ridiculously. my other 3 plants were being water fed every day also until 2 days ago when i stopped watering them after hearing about how you guys wait 2/3 days. anyways included are pics. the order of pics are, from left to right > JANE > RENEE > AMANDA and OLIVIA. the stems are doing pretty good. for ventilation i have a box fan going on low while the lights are on and ALL the stems are doing great, all 3 have even outgrown and shed their old stems. and by the way these are around 3-3 1/2 weeks old. when do you guys think i should flower? i'm thinking the end of this week, maybe the end of next week.

man that took FOREVER to get ONE reply. anyways, yeah the last picture is OLIVIA. she was my first plant and she's flowering now. she most definately is a SHE. i've got 3 smaller plants in VEG. for an update, even though i've got all 3 plants on a 20/4 schedule and theyre only 3-4 weeks old, they already showed sign of sex. the two that showed preflower sex are the same strain and although RENEE is droopy, AMANDA is doing super healthy. and to the bad news. plain JANE turned out to be a guy. so i guess its plain JIM now. anyways my roommate is going to flower it and see if it might be a hermy. i'll post pics on sunday if i get a reply by then. that's when i'm taking new pictures so if anyone is interested in seeing my babies then reply. AND VERIFY THAT I AM INDEED OVER-WATERING RENEE(even though i give them all the same water) HER LEAVES ARE STILL DROOPY

get blazed yall

If you do gat a hermaphrodite, toss it. All you'll get is second grade weed. If it goes true male, separate it from the females. Like, a long way away because pollen floats through the air. When the male flowers up, shake some pollen into a small plastic bag and seal the bag carefully over one of your female's buds. After a few days, remove the bag and dispose of it. You should then get one bud going to seed for future propogation and the rest will remain seedless.

From the photos, it appears that these plants have budded up very early and the resulting smoke may not be what you expect. Having said that, they are looking like quite healthy Indicas, so you may be OK. As an experiment, try removing the buds from one of the plants now, and let the plant continue to grow, you may find it will start another growth cycle and then the resulting bud should be stronger.

I have have a colleague who *always* trims out the first bud flush in order to get a better quality smoke from the second flush.

Disclaimer: This is my non-expert opinion.

Cheers, Gryphonn

thanks for all the input guys. also if i didnt make it clear, the only plant that's budding is olivia and she's about 4 months old. she went through quite a bit but she's pulled through. she's about 2 1/2 feet high and is a few weeks away from harvesting. she was my first grow and i love her to death. RENEE and AMANDA are both around a month old and i plan on starting them on flowering at the end of this week. what do you guys think? oh and about the hermie. i gave it to a friend for him to grow to see if its a hermie. i got that bad boy away from my girls as soon as i found out it was a he. all girls school here.

Hi. So i've been taking pictures every week, so RENEE and AMANDA are a month old and OLIVIA is on her fifth week flowering. I've just started RENEE and AMANDA on the flowering schedule. The bottom leaves are starting to yellow and wilt, not sure why. The soil I'm using is some wal-mart soil with time released nutes(yeah i know it's really bad). I'm not using any other nutes and i actually have the walmart soil mixed in with some regular dirt and perlite. Anyways I'm getting excited waiting for OLIVIA. Heres a few pics for anyone who happens upon here. thanks for the replies to those who replied
