Hey yall, I'm starting a thread to keep track of a comparison grow I am trying. Ive been using Advanced Nutrients since it came out but I am not feeling the new prices for 1L bottles it was already rediculous now its plain stupid. I got a free starter kit of Technaflora products. Tried it out cause my other nuts were done and the results seem to be good. To give it a fair trial I went to get the AN nutes I usually use. I will run a test and see if switching to technaflora wont affect my yield taste and potency too much. The only AN nutes i'll be using with technaflora is Bud Factor X.

Since it's a nutes comparison grow. I will start with both formula's;

Technaflora Formula: BC BLOOM, BC BOOST, AWESOME BLOSSOM, THRIVE ALIVE, SUGAR DADDY, MAGI CAL, OPTIMUM ZENZYME AND SOME AN'S BUD FACTOR X.

Advanced Nutrients Formula: SENSI A & B, B-52, VOODOO JUICE, BIG BUD, BUD CANDY, BUD IGNITOR, BUD FACTOR X, OVER DRIVE AND OPTIMUM ZENZYME.

Growing Space: Hydrohut 8x8x7ft Tent

Lighting: 4x lumatek air cooled 400 watt hps/mh

Filter: Pro Filter 75

Fan: Vortex 6 inch

C02: Yes, C02BOOST for now since I have it there I'll use it then get a tank.

Genetic: Deranged Healings - Wonder Woman (williams wonder x happy lady) happy lady is a cross of (sour diesel x white widow).

Veg Time: 3 days

Flower Time: 3 days as of today.

Feeding Until Now: I transplanted the clones in a soiless mix (lambert) and watered them with some root 66 and sugar daddy. Their's hasnt been any transplant shock since their growing nice.

Next Feeding: I will start first week feeding when the pots dry out.

I have 12 wonder woman from the same mother and 4 more from a different mother both look to be fast flowering the slowest seed mother I did not clone. the other 4 from the other mother are in bigger pots so I can see the difference with pot size also. I'll be keepin track of them they will be fed the advanced nutrients schedule.

*the plants in the far out in the diy ebb & flow system are M-39 clones are friend gave me. The other ebb & flow system are the wonder woman budding.

I guess no one is interested... I'll keep it to myself then... The comparison will be on another forum where people care to know or show they paying attention.

why the chem nutes in the pots instead of organics? seems like it would be easier and cost efficient, and healthier for your plants.

organic is 9 times out of 10 a misunderstood term, and more often than that there is little to no difference its the safety and viability of "organics" to non organics. Organics technically means with carbon. You can label a lot organics, and you can charge more for it to. Odd correlation there. I for one would really like to see how this study turned out for you OP I am going to be running a GH Lucas formula side by side against technaflora. I have found through much research, mostly from first hand experience from people I know seem to suggest that AN, although a good line, is very over priced compared to several alternatives that will give you equally good results. any chance you could give us some updates on this?
