:leaf:day 3. 1 lowryder #2 and 1 lowryder#2 x ak47. they are in 2 gallon grow bags. soil is 1/2 miracle grow (i know it sucks), all i can find around here. the other 1/2 is peat moss and perlite, miracle grow also. under a 150w hps. i am giving them 14 hours of light, increasing a 1/2 hour a day until i get to 19. the lr2 says 18 and the lr2xak47 says 20. :peace:

Mind if I pull up a chair. Been eyeballin' some of those very same seeds for a similar wattage grow. Just found out I might get to be a caregiver so now I am looking for tips and ideas. I have been lurking on here or with my nose in a book for a while now, just have not had the pleasure of growing yet.
Cannot wait to see the results. Please keep us... well me posted. (I'm sure the others are on their way)
I was thinking of maybe trying a stealth 4 door perpetual cabinet grow using 150w HPS or smaller wattage bulb in each 1'lx1'wx2'h chamber. Hopefully your results will help me make up my mind.
+rep Happy Growing!!

Are all those pics taken with the HPS on or off. Just askin because the leaf color looks light green. Mine were that color due to the light being too low and bleaching the small plants. Color improved after lifting the lights about 4 inches. How about a pic from a little farther back so we can see your whole setup. they are going to start to stink pretty soon so be ready for that.

:leaf:day 16. the hps was on for pics. the leaves are dark and lush. the 2 little ones are blue mystic clones. the light is about 12" above. this is my small closet, not really set up. i have a home made and store bought carbon filters. odor is not really a problem for me:mrgreen: i have more seeds , but wanted to see how these do. my avatar is a lowlife blueberry i grew in the same spot. the last pics are of my other closet.:weed: left front blue mystic, left rear moby dick, right front cream caramel, right back is sour cream. 17 days flower. put them on 12/12 when i germed these.:peace:

That's a nice plethora of dope you have there. Lowryders should start showing sex within a week. Thanks for the update.

Looking really good there. I have recently learned the key to growing a big Lowryder and your grow confirms it because your plants look great and finally so do mine. The key is keeping the light high enough above the plant that it is not bleached and stunted. All my girls have turned out to be 12 inch midgets and I tried everything and finally found the answer was that I had my 250 Watt HPS too close to the canopy. It's not nutes or pH or temp. I had my lights to close. Moved em up about 5 inches and my plants are monsters compared to previous grows! I see your light is well above the canopy and your plants look bushy Healthy and big. I read thread after thread of douchebag advice about keeping the light as close as possible to the canopy, but I bet none of those guys ever grew a dwarf strain!

:blsmoke: i have lived and learned. i keep my lights at least 12" on my 150w and 16" on my 400w. my avatar is a blueberry i grew last year. it was almost 17" and 30g with the little 150. i bought it just for autos:peace:

yours look great. Most of the threads of lowryders usually suck ( due to the tribulations of the inexperienced cabinet grower), but you are kicking ass! Mine is keeping up, but I fricking burned my top cola like a dumbass. After 5 or 6 grows I finally got it with these dwarfs and obviously you do too.
