Well I was using one until like 16 days ago when I bought a 400w

This plant has lived under a 150w HPS for most of its life. The first 2 weeks I had her under a fluorescent tube fixture, thats how I start all my seedlings to go outside, I ended up keeping this one inside.

It's Nirvana Swiss Miss, an outdoor strain. Decided to keep one inside because I heard some bad reviews on its finishing time and I wanted to insure a harvest from the pack of beans. That pic, I took Sunday or Monday and it was 30 days of flower.

Yeah man I love my 150w, it worked great for flowering a plant and maybe 2. Im gonna try to work my 150w back into my growroom when I get some time to upgrade my ventilation or maybe get some AC, the heat is a bit too much with both lights, I tried it for 2 days and heat stress was showing. Im in a closet so I gotta be careful with the heat.

I am thinking of getting a 150 myself for heat issues. How hot did your closet get with the 150 and what kind of ventilation did you have.

i flower 8 clones under my 150w hps, and yeild 15g-28g a clone. with a 400w and a 150w hps for supplimental lighting you should have some great buds, but yea heat will be the main issue you have to control.
am on my last few clones of the strain am grow now, then it time to find myself a new strain. am growing red diesel at the moment and really love this strain and so do my mates its sweet and fruity, but its time for a change.
what do you grow ssoil or hydro? am a hydro lover myself.

I have a small squirrel cage fan I took out of an old furnace connected to some ductwork that takes the air out through the ceiling(drop ceiling, cut hole to size). I really dont have an intake fan and didnt need one with the 150w in there, but I need to figure something out after I harvest the 3 plants I got in there at the moment under the new 400w. They are doing fine right now but the heat is a little higher than Im used to. After I harvest Im gonna do some more work on the room before I start a new crop for sure, I want more light in there, lol.

I got a fan in there blowing on the plants too, just to harden up the stalks a bit.

But it really didnt get all that hot with just the 150w in there, I used it for 3 small harvests, running your lights at night will help too with temps. I never saw it get over mid 80's, and usually was around 75 degrees almost all the time

ventilation with a 150w hps is really easy, i use a couple of pc fans and my temps dont go above 80f,but i do use a cooltube.

I wish I had another room so I could run clones, Ive had some nice phenos that I wish I kept. My wife would shoot me though.

Im a dirtbag bud, I grow outdoors so I grow in soil inside too because Im familiar with it. Hydro frightens me a bit, lol. Someday I wanna try it though.

my 1st grow was in soil, and went ok, but i wanted to know what the deal with hydro was, so i started with a small dwc grow and i was like wow! since then i havent looked back.
mother plant and clones can be kept in the smallest of spaces, my mother/clone cab is only 1sqft and just under 3ft in hight. my mother plant is in a small dwc setup and i flower in a ebb&flow tray.
the dwc takes alot more looking after then the ebb&flow but the grow rate of the mother is great and take 2 clones off it every 2 weeks, and harvest 2 clones every 2 weeks, it keeps me going and helps pay for my nutes ;-).
