Nice start Afghankushgrower! I just received my second order from GTA yesterday! Ended up with the Sweet Coffee Ryder and Dinafems Moby Dick. Three days in the mail, not bad at all! Haven't popped a bean yet, just getting ready, stock piling some supplies, hehe. Good luck, will be watching this for sure!

Thanks a lot MmmMmmMmm it was some time and planning before I went thru with it all. The GTA seed bank was fantastic, the guy and girl working (the owners) Had lots of knowledge and were very helpful when I was in there ended up spending $400 but was well worth it. I've seen the shop and seen there selection I'm sure whatever u buy from them will be legit!
And they are very smart seed shop and headshop upstairs in a mall and the hydro shop downstairs. Same building very convenient!

Hello everyone,

This is the day five update nothing really over the top has happened, yet wanted to wait until at least day 12-14 before adding in a few drops of Bio Grow formula , any advise on this? the leaves are healthy and green tho. Anyways heres the day five pics, had to kill the fans for a bit so cold all the sudden and put a little fan on low inside to circulate the air a bit .
Cheers!:joint:

Looking good!!! I'm starting my first grow almost a month after you. I have most of my supplies already, just waiting on my order. Picked up 3 WoS AKR like yours, and 3 Dinafem White widow.

I'm subscribed and anxious to see what my plants will look like a month from now :)

Glad to hear that you didnt think my advice was bs, mine are turning out lovely in the setup I have and did a ton of research before hand. Are you doing a journal or a read up on yours as well? Would be interested to see another couple AKR's in growth :) .
Cheers!

Hello everyone again,

So its time for the day 10 update and I can truly say i'm very impressed. Since my last update I would say that they have at least tripled in side. Looking green and healthy as can be. I added in two 45w cfls because i noticed that the 2 were pulling toward the light so i did it too make it so they didn't lean towards it anymore, and it def worked, i did this on day 8.

Today also marks the first day of nutrients for the AKR's hoping they take well too it , they didn't even need it yet, but figured day 10 what the hell can't hurt. Had to start giving my afghan Kush some so just did both at same time.

Enjoy the pics! next update in another 5 days unless something happens with the nutrients.

Cheers!

U should be aok with 150w in a 2 plant set up. I really wish i did only 2 instead of cramping a third one in. Going to do this next time and maybe upgrade to 5gal pots and put 2 in each pot so ill have 4 instead of 3 but all will be centered under my light :)

Im going to be building a second room for veg once my Afghan Kush plants are in there homes outside so i can have a harvest once every 1.5 months . Start in the one room then move to the HPS room :)

Gl with your planning!!

I'm contemplating it, I'm a little paranoid about it and I don't have a good camera besides my iPhone camera. But I just might steal my little bros camera. We shall see. I'm a few days away still :)

Well i have decided. im done using my 600w after this grow and using both my 150ws in the 2x2x5.5 tent i have. ill do a few runs to make sure it wont over heat for exhuast ill have a 165 or 185 cfm 4 in fan. and just going to build a small 2x2x4.5 for veg with a few t5s and cfls. im going to run autos first i think but i olnly have 3. so it will be a 1 and 2 or 1 1 1 . they are all pine apple express i currently have the afgan kush ryders in a 600w tent.

I heard when dealing with lighting too in watt to lumens comparison it is better to have many bulbs instead of one giant one, I read it in one of my grow bibles. I bet over time the tent with the 2 150's cfl's well do great along with the one 600w. GL keep checking in:bigjoint:

I'm using my iphone to take these pictures , just make sure you go into location services and turn it off for camera .

Going to be adding co2 to the cab in the next few days, also was wondering should humidity matter really it say's its 10% on the thermostat I got but the plants seem to be growing fine. Any suggestions on this?

Ok lol your not disagreeing with me it was in my grow bible. But I can't see how it would be wrong many bulbs spread out in an operation will reach more of the plant. and you can adjust them where ever in your grow (when using cfl's) this is probably very true since you have to keep them closer to the plants to give that bud density you want. Also a 1000w HPS produces roughly 140000 lumens and a 600w HPS produces roughly 95000 so this means in a larger, med, or small scale the light you use with produce more lumens or lux however you want to measure it.
Example 2x1000w=280000 roughly and 3x600w=285000 saving you an extra 200w even in the end. Just what im reading out of the book but id back it.
Also you can keep your plants closer to lower wattage lights because the heat wont burn it etc, meaning the lower watt lights being even closer will produce even more light on a better scale

600 Are the most efficient bulbs on the market, in many case because of heat 2 600 can out perform 2 1k so the three 600 compared to 2 1k is a no brainer. BUT you are comparing 2 150w bulbs (Savagely in efficient when compared to the 600w) and with things like canopy penetrationView attachment 2583664 I believe you will find that the 600 will out perform any space with 2 150w in it. I know many people pulling 1.25p out of a single plant grow and a 600w light which equals about 1g/W very respectable in my book. What you are suggesting is that the same grower would have to produce 2g/w with lower efficient bulbs to compare with, let alone surpass the 600.And that doesnt even begin to touch on QUALITY of finished product. I repectfully disagree with this claim. -S0uP

ok mr right you proved me wrong, if thats wtf you wanted to hear? dunno why you are even going on about light specs etc on my page on growing auto AKR's but anyways. Never once did I say a 150W would out preform a 600W considering a 16,000 lumens are only produced by a 150W . I said that the room he was talking about would do better adding in the different cfl's and the 2 150ws cause he could adjust around. And yes anyone knows a 600W is most efficient. Leave my page if your just trolling your proving nothing to anyone, considering I didn't ask for an opinion on what I saying and you don't know the whole convo to even begin with. What I typed is what I read out of a book and re typed.

This is a page on Auto Flower growth and AKR's Not coming on and randomly saying you disagree with something. If you feel your co*k get bigger when saying someone else is wrong then do it on your own time. No one on this page cares. Comment on my auto's setup etc. Or even one your starting or have going. And if you don't have either of those then obviously I don't care that you disagree with me or my grow bible I guess since I read the info from there. So once again get a life Oo Soup oO stop trolling a page on auto AKR's talking about light spec
Update tomorrow!

So Crazy changes since the last update since they have once again growth an incredible amount. Not really in height exactly but they are filling out nicely with only 2 very small feedings of nutrients that they are taking nicely too. The foliage is a very healthy green no signs of any discoloring in the leafs and the temp still stays at a steady 70-85 now with it being warmer outside its easier to control with the fans I have for in take / out take. Once again using Bio Thrive Grow nutrients, and then 3 feedings of just water. using only 1/4tsp of juice per feeding too figured keep it light since they arent showing any signs of needing it. Going to start doing 1 feeding then 2 normal watering and reduce then add more and so on till they start to flower. Then on too Fox Farm. Also havent shown sex yet but I have faith they are females these seem not to disappoint

Enjoy the Pic's, I know I am :) :peace:

hello mate!nice going there..!
i 've noticed that the tips of the leafs start curling upwards..maybe it is a sign for wrong ph?
also i think that is a bit early to start the feeding..maybe you will not see the problem immediately
but after a week and more
nice job!:blsmoke:
