150w cfl question

Im looking at getting two 150w cfl 5000k 6900 lumen blubs. I want to set them on top of the two plants and use my other lights for the sides. (other lights are strip lighting)

Their like 40 bucks each so I only want to get two of em... does this sound like a good spot for them?

sounds good just make sure you get a good reflector and keep a fan blowing to keep the temps down, not that CFL's get super hot but keep it in the 70's. you can look at my grow to see my kights setup

well those 150 watters I was looking at are fairly larger then the ones you are useing. I like those duel socks tho.

For sure I will be useing a fan. Maybe I will start with one and get the second when I need the extra light.

where are you gettin this cfls at?

Yeaa, mr pretty much touched up on everything. That'd be a pretty good setup. I'm planning on doing the same thing as you but in a closet with mylar all over the place. You think I should keep water in there for humidity, or is it just not necessary?
