Come on man I'm pretty sure he was asking if he could fit it in there logically. Meaning hvac. Heat ventilation and air conditioning. There is no need for that kinda snootiness. He is a vulnerable noob in that area that was asking alegit question.

MMA nt sure man. Guess it depends on how big of tubbermaids you get lol(tubbermaids was a typo but I dig it more than rubbermaids so I left it) rofl
Also what do you plan on doing with the light? Cooltube? Aircooled snatch? Ahem! Excuse me..."air cooled hood" um lots of fans.? I mean does this plan on being a stealth grow???

i think im just gonna go with 2 250 watt cfls hps's get too hot for rubbermaids its not worth the risk

i would go with the hps if i were you. look at the 150 watt hps thread on here, i believe the OP used a 150 hps in ONE 25 gallon rubbermaid- with only computer fans as an outtake. in my opinion, it should work as long as you are smart about it. meaning dont let anything extremely hot (which the light and socket will be) touch rubber, or your plant for that matter. also make sure you have a fan or two blowing directly on the hps, for obvious reasons. and good ventilation in general. if you are planning two stacked on one another id say a 6 inch duct booster will be enough, provided you still have an intake and circulation on the inside.

are you really thinking of getting 500 watts of cfl's instead of ONE 150 hps? im pretty damn sure those cfls will put out more heat.

I used a 150w HPS in my tub grows before moving onto a tent with 400w switchable. I used 2 inline duct fans, 1 for intake in the bottom tub and another exhausting out the top. This setup actually works very, very well though plant size became a problem hence the move to the tent.

if you go with the hps and havent gotten the light, id buy this one. well i did buy it already. its only 30 dollars so probably cheaper than the cfl's and comes with everything but the power cord, but they sell that for a couple bucks. it comes as an outdoor lamp but its easy to take apart and you end up with a nice reflector. theres a picture of it in the one thread i posted as well if your curious. good luck with the grow.

well, that is the plan. ive got a female flowering right now, 5 weeks in, not doing so well though :/. i should probably post some pics to try to get a proper diagnosis but i am leaving it for 5 days so may just chop it early. its my first grow and i started with cfl's and ive only got an 18 gallon rubbermaid with a couple of cheap walmart fans and, as my outtake, two computer fans. im pretty sure ill need the 25 or 31 gallon and a 4 or 6 inch duct booster for outtake to keep the light cool enough. but like i said, its been done in just one rubbermaid with just computer fans as an outtake.

yeah i have a 6 inch duct booster its so loud though i need to figure out how to make it quieter

what kind did you get? im thinking about getting one of those cheap ones of amazon, either the 240 cfm 6 in or the 4 in one idk how many cfm. about 30 bucks either way though. but i cant have a loud fan.

and are you planning on two rubbermaids stacked or just one?
