Some plants are more rooty than others but I've root bound a 28 inch plant in a 5 gallon bucket after 3 weeks of veg so that seems a it the small to me. On another note I think I would go at least 4 plants for 1000 watts. At least

well i put four plants in 15 gal pots last night. the pots are pretty dam big. i dont see myself transplanting them again. Ive been vegging them for about 2 or 3 months now. there all pretty short and bushy just how i want them. ill prob veg for another month or two so they will be ready for 1000 watt each hopefully

I would say no. I would suggest a 30 gallon pot or larger , your talking about a tree plant right ? 6 feet tall and hoping to pull 12 plus ounces off it ? need to get bigger then that 15.

i wanna pull about a pound per plant hopefully. I always get more than a pound on 1000 if i do a sog. Ive never tried 1 plant per light tho. this 15 gallon pot is massive, will be a bitch if i have to transplant again, but i will if i need to. And, i need to keep em under 5 feet, its gonna be fun

but i usually do about 10 plants in 3 gal pots, which would = 30 gallon. but the 3 gal pots usually look like its way more than enough soil at the end

I got 12 ounces in 3 gallon potters.......I also got 2 ozers out a 6 inch cup

remember there is no root bound...

just the need to water more often.... control what you put into the water and no lockouts ie flush once a month when you have solid roots
