I have been giving my plants 20-20-20 seeing amazing results until about august then switched too my 15-15-30 the plants are still healthy and growing good / budding (grow season ends late september early october where i live) But they are not budding 100% too what i thought they would be is this because there is still too much nitrogen or are they just going slow? and if too much nitrogen is cutting out the nutrients all together worth it because i will be loosing my p and k i need for flowering? plants are 6-7 ft tall atm

I think that you are using way too much N for flowering. I like a npk more like that of Fox Farms Tiger Bloom 2-8-4 or many of the other canna-specific nutes. I dont like the NPK numbers your running for any stage of growth. I dont know if you get your nutes from a big home department store but you should try to find a hydro shop near you or at least get some canna-specific nutes on-line. I used to use the bloom nutes from Home DePot and my plants were never quite right. Now I like to use a mix of organics like bat and seabird guano, earth worm castings and some store bought nutes from people like Fox Farms and Roots Organic. And get you some liquid kelp for those trace minerals. Hope this helps bro. Hit me up if you have any questions.

You need to exercise some patience.

You want to feed your plants something that's going to keep your leaves green and healthy. As with any plant food, don't overdo it and be patient. In my experience, there is no plant food that's going to speed up or slow down flowering as the flowering 'speed' is genetic (unless we're talking about light cycles, then flowering times can be manipulated).

Hey thinking about it now that i read this right after i cut off the nutes i came back soon after to many dead fan leaves i picked them all off and all was good but kind of do wish i kept useing the 15-30-30 abit longer there all almost done now at what point do i know there good to go about 80% of the white hairs have turned orange and buds have started too tighten up nicely crowns still have more white hairs then 70% of the plant how do i go about this can i harvest lower buds as there finishing or will that ruin my crowns? looking beetween 5-9ft plant and 2oz-1lb smaller plants are finishing up at the same time its looking like but the bigger ones are definitly finishing at the bottom first just hold out or?
