Hello everyone this will be my first grow

My equipment:

HID Sonlight HPS 400W with cooling tube.
Temperature / humidity = 26,5 / 75% (day)
Temperature / humidity = 21,5 / 60% (night)
Day / Night = 12 / 12
30 cm fan
CellMax Soil Bloom nutrient
Soil with perlite
Cheese feminized seeds
(Height : up to 31.5 inches / 80 cm, Flowering period : 8 to 10 weeks)

Description:

30 days in veg, I use AGRO bulb, then change to HPS, (plant average height when i switch light to 12/12 = 40cm = 15,7 inches)

Today is 14 days in 12/12 cycle, average plant height is ~60cm(23,6 inches), how do you think, this small buds is normal for two weeks in flowering ?

Thanks :)

Looks great bro. They are I little light in color for week 2 though. You could benefit from some cal/mag. it will darken them up a little and cause your plants to uptake more nutrients and pig out a little more. I love running cheese strains. Chunky high yielders. But yeah you do have a slight cal/mag deficiency, I usually get it around week 2-3 also. Your plants will still yield good buds if you keep going the way you are (I used to never use cal/mag, and never knew I needed it) but they will yield more if you add some cal/mag. I use the cal/mag by GH but I do hydro so find whats better for your program. Your budding looks right on time though. Great job for some seedling too.

Oh and Yes its normal, even a little advanced. Well if it was a sativa you wouldn't see any buds at all yet. but its cheese (indica dominant) so yea they look great, right on time.

They are looking great, I would mix up some of your base veg nute in a spray bottle an mist them, I think it solves a lot of yellowing problems in early flower and gives the plant some much needed mutes during a time of fast growth

Cal/mag will fix the yellowing within a couple days. Those plants need Cal/mag bro. trust me. I bet you havent fed ANY cal/mag.

My wife just seen your pic and she said they looked just like mine before I fed them Cal/Mag. Cal/mag is just an additive to your nutes it wont hurt, or burn ur plants it will make them eat better and darken them up. it will increase your yield. My name is growrookie but if you check out my pics from my last post you'll see i'm no rooky at all.

Yeah they look really good. great job. I only do seedlings for new genetics because they are so hard to baby in the beginning, and you never really know what your going to get. Seedlings are all different, even from the same mother plant, they are sisters. like one sister is tall and fat with blue eyes and the other is skinny short with green eyes, the same thing goes with plants. make sure you take a couple cuts from each, because who knows, you might have something special there. If one of them yields super insane with some crazy potent stinky bud, you will be wishing you had those genetics again later.:wall: Specially with Cheese seeds. from my experience with cheese strains, you have big yielders, and even bigger yielders. I've never seen a small yielder from the cheese family. Id take cuts for sure. If I knew you, Id root them for you just in case you got something there. don't worry about cloning flowering plants they snap out. people say not to, but I don't know why. I do it all the time. but for sure, Hit 'em with cal/mag and within days you'll be so happy you did.

growrooke1 hit the nail on the head. Great job they look a little in color but you are doing a good job. you will only get better from here.

Think I'll be picking up some Cal mag my damn self lol. And always take cuttings if you have the space to propagate them!

Just ran into an old ass picture of my Cheese grow and thought of this post. I grew like 3 different types of cheese in this grow from different sources. This is why I say you should take cuts because cheese strains are HITTERS! I lost this strain and when I bought it at a club later it was a fake. If you lived close enough I would buy a cut and promise to always give you at least 5 free clones of your strain on call.Cheese and UK Cheese..jpg Oh, and you should always go with Bloom nutes in Bloom. And later like week 5 or 6 you want to take ANY source of "N" from their NPK diet. and give them some sugar if you can. CarboLoad is the bomb. GH floralicious is bomb too. you could change the flavors with Floralicious (I use "blueberry dream" on my SSH and everyone thinks my meds are Blue Dream and way more people like the Blue Dream, but BD is a small yielder at least compared to my pheno of SSH. then when I tell them its not BD its SSH they don't care or don't believe me lol but no matter what they want the meds) But with Cheese I would use pure Carboload (it will bring out the cheese FUNK. Then use SuperNaturals Bud Blaster the last 3 weeks (1st week at 1/2 straingth) or KoolBloom its a cheaper version of Bud Blaster. Those are additives so you could just add them to your nutes. are you folar feeding them?? That's crazy if you are. You'll need to stop that soon and give them some real food or things might go downhill on week 3 and 4. Plants don't really eat through their leaves at all (I don't know why they sell nutes and "say folar feed this" its crazy. When you started, your soil probably had plenty of nutes in it. but that washes out eventually as you water. also as your plants get deeper into flower they will want more, not just that, they will want different nutes that isn't in your soil. You need to poor nutes into your pots. Don't be a skeerdy cat.

You know Cheese is a Skunk strain. They did 100s of seedlings of skunk (or skunk1?) and took clones from them. While the moms were budding, one was different w a Cheesey funk not a skunk funk. So they called it Cheese (some called it UK cheese) Then the babies from that pheno started Big Budda cheese and so on.

The UK Cheese it the original cut. It Was the cheesiest phenotype when I ran it too. Its such a badass strain bro. SUPER FIRE when it fully ripens.
