Jack's are booming! Never had such a enjoyable strain to grow before. Can see why it's such a winner. Buds are rock solid and the aroma is bungent.

The surviving White Widow. Coming along well...took one clone off this one just in case it smokes up to be a winner. All my bets are on the Jack.

I'll move a lamp into the grow tent next time round to get better pic's with the hps's off, camera has trouble focusing otherwise.

Anyone with alot of experience with jack pheno's able to tell me 100% if this is a indica pheno? I'm 99% sure it is

Hey Sytha, how's things. Sorry I cant help with your question but those Jacks look great. Looks like I have to do some more tuning in. First I want to set in with organic and am looking for mychorrizae right now. Then I want to slow down and increase my vegging and topping game. I threw up a video on my thread and am working on pics today. Spluffed my female Jackhammer with one of my males pollen yesterday looking for some seed.

Cheers

Just got back from 4 days away for work. My wife was looking after the ladies while i was gone and she did a great job! even though she's a little jealous sometimes when they :leaf: take my time away from her. They've started the filling out phase and are looking mighty fine...3 more weeks and i think they'll be done. I have switch to the dry koolbloom and flora nectar nute mix 2moz for the final 2 weeks before 1 week flush. Time to stress the ladies right out!!

I'll post some eye candy when i do this nute change.what is mychorrizae? a brand of organic nute? I'd luv to try organics sometime soon..especially foxfarms but it's very hard to find in australia and i'd rather not order it from o/s. Was the lucky male u picked a jackhammer also?

wow i love watching your grow journel. your plants look so filled out im surprised your not having a problem with them falling over from the top colas....but your grow makes me feel bad since i been having so much trouble with my jack herers. i think you are going to have a nice harvest by the end of grow...can't wait to see your plants when it comes time to harvest...ohh i also attached a pic of one of my jacks.....doesn't look like much in comparison to yours :(

Blue Line = Pump line with jets attached
Red Line = Drainage back to Rez

System needs to be on a slight slant so the water feeds back to the rez. I'm only using a shitty fishtank pump at the moment so it's not a 'true' aero system as i dont have the pressure to run the real fine mist jets. That's what i'm aiming to get sorted next. I have connectors inbetween the grow boxs so that i can add or remove more grow boxes as needed. Only thing is as you add more you need a bigger pump (as you'd know) and a much bigger rez. Adding just one plant/box will comsume about 2-3 litres of nute per day. I work away from home for a upto 4 days at a time so i need a system that can run by itself and big enough rez to last that period.

The other thing i'd like to get done is insulating the grow box's and rez and moving the rez outside the tent so I can maintain a slightly better temp in those area's.

Started final flush tonight, using florakleen for two days then straight up tap water for the final 5 days. All i can say about these budz is that you could beat ya mate up with one, they're that big! Leaves have started to yellow and the calyx's are totally swollen.

Dude, am I doing my math right. Did you flower those Jacks in 8 weeks? They look awesome! What was your total veg time again, I know you spend time on that with your topping? Something I definitely want to do is up my veg game. I actually have some seedlings that I put into 12/12 after a week, and another batch a couple of weeks younger staying under CFL's to veg. So far I'm leaning on the CFL's giving me better results in the end. Anyway great job man, I hope my Jack Hammer even comes close to one of those Jacks. So far she's at 45 days 12/12, giving a week for flowering to kick in that's nearing half way.

I only vegged the jacks for around 6 weeks. You gotta remember there's 4 main pheno's which 2 are sativa/haze dominate and stretch alot, 1 i dont know to much about and the other which i have is the indica dominate and doesnt stretch much at all. I had the lights very close with the cooltubes so that would of cut back on stretch even more. From the look of your Jackhammers, they're quite haze dominate and stretch to all buggery. I still LST and Top sativa's the same way, i find that you just have to train them longer during the first couple of weeks of flower to keep the height down. If your running horitzontal lights its best to get the plants to spread sideways as much as possible to help light penetration, like your growing grapes but the grapes grow upwards inside of dangling down.

I understand what you mean and agree very much. When I was looking for my first real genetic seed I was intentionally looking for heavy sativa dominant plant. I've been smoking commercial weed since the MH bulb and hydro hit the market and then Caribbean and S.American sativa's vanished, replaced by shorter flowering Indicas and Hybrids, and on a positive note, black hash. I wouldn't even buy weed then, unless I had to. Anyway, also being new to growing, I wanted to see somewhat the natural growth of the plant, hence the single top and tie back. Well I've seen and that's that. Same with 2 of my widows that stretched to hell on me under the HPS giving like 4" spaced nodes. So I went LST radical on them and yeah they look somewhat dumb but they'll produce some nice bud I'm sure, and I got to see for myself a whopper of a stretch. I don't mind this stuff happening, it's just getting it all over with right now, IMO. So I'm pretty convinced I want to do 4 to 6 week vegging from now on.

Also, I didn't know about the 4 phenos for Jack Herers. I guess Sannie used the heavy sativa dom one for his Sannies Jack. Thanks for that info.

i believe the greenhouse version of jack herer is not related in any way to the original jack herer. i think the above info is for sensi jack herer
