1200 Watts - 3x400w or 2x600Watts

I'm planning on expanding my setup and im unsure about selling my 400 kit and rerplacing with 600, but im wondering if its better to have 3 bulbs of 400HPS in a bigger area, OR 2 bulbs HPS and probably a smaller area. Any ideas and advice is welcome.

I know im losing 30K lummens with the 400w lamp, my T son puts out around 50000 and a 600w would output 91000 but im unsure on how to relate this with the area used with the 3 400 lights.

Two 600s would definately be better. If you have the budget why not grab two 600s and do a 1400 watt grow.

Definately tha 2 600s in a smaller space would give you more bud than 3 400s over a larger space,, as long as you LST or Scrog,,

Or like DankBudzzz said just add tha 2 600s and you'll get even more if you can afford em, tha price difference between tha 600 and 400 is not that much, like 40 bucks
