The room- 5'x 10'x 9' with fully insulated walls. Running small CO2 burner with fuzzylogic controller. The temps are controlled with a small intake fan and a larger exhaust fan attached to a carbon filter. The lights are the new Sol 9 (900 true wattage) and a Magnum plus2, that has been rebuilt to fit my needs. The Sol9 is over a 5'x5' area and has excellent coverage @ 12". The Magnum on the other side and will hung at an angle over a 2'x4' tray and a second 12"x4' shelf. Both will be on light movers (no more than 10" of movement). The goal is to put 4 into flower every 2 weeks. 1 will be DWC and 3 in dirt. At the moment I have 4 dwc and 12 or more in dirt. I should have 15 or more under the magnum and 9 larger plants under the Sol9.

For those wonder my thoughts on the Sol9- Lots of light! Also the best lateral lighting and spectrum blending I have seen. At 12" the whole top of the canopy (5'x5') is getting light. The Light is more like a daylight light bulb, compared to both my previous panels. But if you look at the cobs as they are turning off, you can see the different spectrum.

Being a perpetual grow, this room never changes. I try to put 4 plants in every 2 weeks, so there is about 5 stages of flowering at all times. My next harvest will be just before new years. 4 Bay 11s. These didn't get much vegging but are doing good. I have one SFV and 2 animal crackers? in dwc buckets. Also 2 SFV in dirt. They went into the flower room 11/22. Right now these will finish under the Sol9. All five are between 30" and 40" tall.

The Sol9 has 9 plants under a 4.5'x5' canopy. On the back wall shell, in coco, I have 4 alien OGs vegged to the size of a basketball. The 2 SFV in dirt, are sitting on buckets to match the 3 DWC, 1 SVF and 2 animal crackers. The canopy is pretty level and the plants seam very happy with the light @ 12". I did have to throw away the old cheap fans I had and add 2 new wall mount fans. One is fanning across the light to cool it. Now I have been keeping it between 76* and 78*. Intake and exhales hardly turns on now. I will get some pics up later. So far great light.

I have notice that the SFV under the older light is getting a touch of nut burn, but the ones under the Sol9 is having a problem.

Week 2 on the 4 alien OG, week 7 on the 4 SFV OG, and week 6 on the 2 Animal cookies. This is only under the Sol9. I just dried 4 Bay11s that were flowered from clones. One had a week of veg. That was 50 grams and the total for all four was over 80 grams. Now I have about 8 under the magnum, but will be closer to 20 smaller plants in a week or 2.

Sorry, that was a misprint on the last page. I am very happy so far. The buds are forming very consistent 12 or more inches down every branch. Even the bottom branches don't look much smaller. This one was also from clone.

Sol9 Update- so far I have harvested 4 plants that were only under the new light half the cycle. The 3 SFV in soil got 1.5 to 1.75 ounces and the SFV in DWC got 2.25 ounces. The DWC buckets have been to hot. The root zone is at 68* when the light come on. The 2 Animal cookies were also have issues with the roots. The are flushing now. The look over 2 ounces each. Not the best start on my first DWC. So I am changing it to a RDWC. So I can control the water temps. The 4 Alien OGs will be the real test. They have been under the new light since the start of flowering. With a month to go, they already have bigger buds then the SFV. I now have added 8 Alien OGs in rockwool cube. They are in 8"x40" flood and drain trays. I use adjustable shelf brackets on the right and left walls to hold each tray. I think this light will eventually cover 6 of these trays. The trays can hold 6 6" cubes, but I have 4 in each now. As soon as the Animal cookies is done, I will be cramming 5 DWC with a res in the middle of the light. So that is 4 Aliens in coco on back shelf, 8 Aliens (4 per side flood and drain), and 5 RDWC crammed in the middle. It would be better if I only did two buckets but they are ready now. One strange thing I have seen with the new light is on the Animal cookies, the buds are getting bigger as they go down the branch. The top bud is almost half the size as the bud 12" down. The plant never showed signs of light stress and the panel has been around 12" from day one.

Otherside Update- On the back upper shelf ( 1'x5') I have 4 Ghost train haze. These were flipped at 12" and quickly stretch to 24". I set up a net 12" off the dirt and ben over the top 12" under the net. In the 2'x4' tray I now have 6 Purple AK. I got these 2 weeks into flowering. The had already stretched and were 16". Also I just throw in 2 AKs @ 14".
