I have a timer I got made by a company called WOODS! My phone alarm goes off when the lights are supposed to go off. The problem is over a weeks time it changes about 15-25 minutes sooner - for on and off. I just turn the dial back to when it should go off. But will this 20 minute change back and forth every week mak a big differance. It's been going on for 4 weeks but the buds look fine so--???

After this grow. For now it's at the back of a grow cab I built and now SCROGing no access!

Ancient as in 2 1/2 years old but the same model is still at 3 stores I go to!
No worries my friend. Once you are past the 2 week mark, if all is well, all should stay well. That is the general rule with flowering. Small variances in light cycle will not harm your ladies. As long as they have less than 14 hours of light, they will be fine. In fact, my 12/12 light cycle, is only 12/12 for the first 2 weeks. Then I change it to 13/11 until they are done.

do you find that 13/11 makes a diff. for you?
Yes, with a 13/11 cycle, you get bigger buds......although slightly leafier than normal, but not enough to make your weed harsh. For how much bigger your buds (pistules, and oil sacks) get, it is definitely worth the slightly leafier buds. I would say the buds grow on average about 25% - 40% fuller if you switch to the 13/11 method AFTER the initial 2 week force period at 12/12. The first 2 weeks at 12/12 is absolutely necessary, in my experience, because you have a greater chance of creating hermies if you start them on a longer light cycle. After 2 weeks, switch to 13/11 and you are good to go.

Thanks for the question, hope the answer is helpfull...
