"12/12" outside from seed in WINTER experiment

So, I happened to find 2 seeds in a bag of some dank (no, i don't know what strain it was/is, as it was gifted to me) and figured what the hell, let's see how resilient canna really is. "Winter" is coming up, but it doesn't usually get "too bad" until around the 1st week or so of December (85 here today, lol). If in fact it does get "too cold" outside, I will move them inside.....

*This isn't going to be a "super serious" thread, this is just all for fun & the harvest will be turned into some type of concentrate*

Soil: FFOF
Nutes:
Foliage Pro (DynaGro)
Sensi Bloom A&B (AN)
Azamax (GH)
Protekt (DynaGro)

9-13

9-16

9-18 *Out the ground

9-21

^ Has to be a female, can't figure out what it want's to do *dry humor* - not sure how this happened either, found it like this upon getting back home. Whatever.
9-24 *today

^ Still growing...i won't cry if it doesn't make it...

Tips & shit welcome. Don't be pessimistic, please......remember, this is for FUN!

As long as you can keep the frost off them you should be able to get something out of them. :) Good luck!
That shouldn't be a problem, in theory. With my upcoming work schedule it's surely going to be iffy, but hopefully my fiance will take the best care of them she can when I'm gone, unless I piss her off lmao :eyesmoke:

Nothing much to report besides steady downpours & 20 mph winds the past 2 1/2 days. Lots of stretch, little wind damage, & something got hungry. I am going to re-pot this soon as it dries out just to bury the stretch*

I got this as a freebie, figured I would pop it too for shits & giggles. Has anyone grown this strain?

edit: instead of feeding an through flower, after reading more and more about dg i'll go ahead & order dg bloom.

I've done a winter light deprivation op.. as long as you keep on top of the weather you should be fine. I would leave them inside if it is too wet and cold during the day. Some T5 supplemental lighting works fine with keeping the light schedule going even when the girls have to camp inside for a few days. If they are in a warm and dry place at night.. they can turn out to be squat and dense plants if the genetics are strong. Best of luck!

What is your winter season like on average? Yeah, if it got too cold or wet they would definitely come inside. I'm going to tie them down as much as possible, without slowing them down too much.

On another note, I did just buy a replacement hygrometer. Definitely worth the money. Have any of you tried the boveda packs?

I put this seed inside this container yesterday morning, it had just cracked open. 12pm it looked like this

This morning it looked like this.

Now we wait for it to come out the soil.

Keep that little one warm at night!
No doubt. I laugh @ your pic every time lol. It's almost out of the ground. It should be shooting on out by lunch surely.

My replacement hygrometer came in today but not with the joint lol

Edit: Now they're talking about a fucking hurricane this weekend, seriously?! It rained 4/7 days last week, it's going to rain tomorrow also. All day.

Was finally able to leave it in full sun all day, growing day by day. Slowly, but surely. I really wish this rain would fuck off though :hump: at least long enough for me to get everything set up inside :eyesmoke:
