12/12 from seed with CFLs

Well finally I have decided to start my second grow! These are seeds from the only plant I have ever grown. Her name was oddly enough Adam lol. I had started 2 plants, Adam & Eve. Eve grew some big ole balls so I was left with Adam. The smoke from Adam was amazing and me and my wife called it Adam Bomb. We have a full mason jar left of her.

Since it was my first grow I stressed the hell out of Adam while she grew. So she grew a few balls that I never found but they did their job and she was then with child lol. So now I have a shit load of seeds from her that we have named Poodle Doodle. I know I know really gay name right? Well my wife likes to call me Poodle so just lay off! lol I read a few places that hermie plants give seeds that will probably be hermie, but I have also read that hermie plants that turned hermie from stress produce fem seeds. I hope the second one is right.

Tonight I put 8 Poodle Doodle seeds in wet paper towel and they are in our closet. I put a heater in there and they are at a comfortable 85 degrees. Now lets hope they sprout! Its good to be growing again.

On 7/4 6 of the 8 had germinated so I planted them in a mixture of 50% FFOF 25% vermiculite and 25% Miracle Grow perlite. Lastnight 3 of the six had broken the surface but hadn't shed the shell yet so no leaves. I'm hoping when I go home tonight I will have my first leaves.

I will try to get pictures up tonight finally. The ladies poked their heads up yesterday morning so I set my lights to turn on at 8AM then left for work. When I got home I found that the circuit breaker had tripped so the lights never came on. The sprouts were all stretched out and none of them had any green or leaves showing. They looked really sad. I fixed the lights and decided to give them a few days of 24 hour light to perk them up. This morning all but 1 had nice bright leaves. I will probably switch them to 12/12 in the next day or two.

Right now since they are little sprouts I only have 6 27w 6500k CFLs on. When they get a little bigger I will add another 2 bulbs bringing my total to 8 27w 6500k CFLs. Once they begin to flower I will be replacing the 6500k bulbs with 8 43w 3000k CFLs.

Ok so I promised pictures tonight finally lol. So i got 6/6 females! So it seems that by stressing my first plant I ever grew I turned her hermie thus she created fem seeds! That is awesome news cause now I have a couple hundred free fem seeds

Lastnight I transplanted them all into 1 gallon pots and there they will stay until harvest. I used a mixture of 70/30 Ocean Forrest/Light Warrior. I also did my first 90 degree bend on all of them to start my LST. I can't wait to see what they look like when I get home tonight.

One last thing, until now I have fed them nothing. However now that the hairs are starting to pop up all over I decided to start the molasses. I gave them a Tbl/gallon of distilled water lastnight after the transplant.

23 days old from seed

So here are the pictures finally. They may look a little sad because I was doing some LST but trust me by tomorrow they will explode. I will try to get more pics tomorrow after they turn fully back up towards the lights.

Here are the gals! They are lookin amazing! I can't believe how good these plants look, I really hope I get an ounce per plant off these babies. I switched my lighting around and it looks much better now. I started feeding them a few days ago with the full fox farms line at 1/2 strength. I also started adding molasses at 1Tbl per gallon.

Now I have 12 43w daylight CFLs and 4 23w bright white CFLs. I read that if I add a few of the veg lights the end result would be more potent. I don't know if thats true but I figure more light can't hurt.

I took the gals out on the deck for a about 3-4 hours Saturday. I swear in sunlight its like you can watch em grow lol.

37 days old

They are starting to trich up nice! Way better then my first grow. WOOHOO!

The hairs on two of my plants are starting to turn pink. Now besides that being totally awesome lol, does that indicate anything? Like strain, potency, possible stress?

I tried to get pictures but I could not get close enough without making blurry pictures. And no my camera does not have a macro mode, its an old one.

So far the gals have had about 10 hours of sunlight since they have been alive. I don't know if a few hours here and there of sunlight will help much, I just love looking at the crystals sparkle in the sun lol. They are commin along amazing. The buds look really tightly packed. As you can imagine our bedroom smells like heaven more and more every day lol.

I'd be careful of that sunlight. I've heard taking them from their light source on to something so much more concitraited all of a sudden, then back again can cause shock. Not to mention pest!!! That's my BIGGEEST problem so far with my 12.12 grow[skunk#1]

Hmm never thought about shocking them like that..... *runs out the door*

K there back inside lol. I think I will be keeping them inside for the duration. Thanks for throwing that helpful comment in, now that I think about it, it makes sense it could shock em.

Well I'm absolutely in love with 12.12 grows. So much faster for the quick and personal smoke!!! not to mention space saving.[the smell isn't a prudent, or travel as far as a veg then flower grow.

tho im currently in my own first grow, i've been studying for a good 3 or four months before hand.[google grower lmao]

like i said tho, im watching! it tells me in my email when you post xD so cool..
