12/12 from seed Day 29 CFL

Hey guys its 29 from seed with 12/12 just making a post to see if i can improve anything within my grow box . Its 1 1/2ftx1ftx1ft lined with flat white posterboard i have 4 Y-splitters thats putting out around 150 actuall watts as well as 2 more Y splitters for side light thats putting out about 100 actual watts of side lighting . Im pretty sure they are in 3L pots but they are grown in MG superbloom potting soil ive feed twice with nutes its a 10-15-10 concentrate that you add to the water i started out with 3 drops in a quart of water the comended dosage is 7 drops per quart so i started light didnt want to burn them . I think thats about it though let me know if i missed anything or have any questions

be careful with the mg soil, most has nutes already in it and it is not the right ones for flower. i like mg soil for my outdoors plants as they will veg for awhile. you do need more light but it sounds like it will be a bit tight. what strain are you running? i have found that indica is not a good choice for 12/12 from seed. most of the time you can go heavier then what the instructions say, some push till it starts to show over feeding then back off a bit. your mg soil can mess with you if you push to hard. i would try to find a organic soil for when you transplant if you do, walmart has some stuff ng or nk brand about 2.00 a bag. it is some ok stuff. good luck.

Its just a bag seed this is my second grow first one went well with less lighting no nutes and the same soil i had to scratch i tho cause it revegged and rotted on me . next time around im gonna use some fox farms organic soil though .

if it revegged then you had a light problem as in too long a light cycle and or light leaks, and the rot is a air movement problem. make sure you have no light leaks and atleast a small fan running. i lost most of my outdoor crop to bud rot this year and there was nothing i could do about it, but the indoor plants have two small fans running at all times and i will have bigger fans this time around.

I'll be curious to see how these do as they enter the stretch phase. See any pistols yet?

Yes lots of pistils on my only remaining girl the one who hadnt shown sex with get burnt to death due to my lights falling on her but everything is ok as long as my female is good

Here she is on day 31 transplanted her into a 3gal pot .

This is pretty cool. We are both running 12/12 from seeds. I'm like 10 days or so ahead of you. Maybe we can learn from one another.

I have a grow journal going that i started from day one . Idk how to put a link to it in a comment but most definately bro id love to have any help offered . This is only my second grow but ill do my best to give "insight" lol .

in which week should one expect to see pistils? I swear I saw them in like week 5 but was not sure and it was female I found out for sure 10 weeks in. Any advice on determining sex of plants?

No just a different post cause like only one person was giving input . Im pretty sure i tagged you in my journal bro

My journal is under "grow journals" and at darth - mine showed sex on day 28-29 i think if you check out my journal its has posts and pictures for everyday day one till now which is day 31 .

Well, it seems to be strain dependent in my experiment. My 1st pistol appeared at day 25 or so. The way I counted my days tho was seed to sprout to rockwool cube into coco and when it sprouted thru the coco, that was day 1. All of that took about 6 days or so I think.

Other strains that were slower were about a week behind.

Why dont you just transition from there to here. I will go back and read your journal but its easier for everyone if you start posting your updates here.

for some reason I thought I had to switch to 12/12 before I could determine the sex of the plant....the plant showed pistil hairs way before...probably around the 4th week like yours. What strain are you blazing today @Kinfokejr @Hot Diggity Sog ?
