I want to grow my DPD F3's (see pic) next, to make some F4 beans and to FINALLY grow/smoke some of this majorly sought after purple strain.
But I also want to try C-99 for the first time too !
Thinking of running 2 coolers with 2 different breeders C-99 for an open pollination and lots of beans.
Followed by a strictly DPD F3 grow after that.
IDK !!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Floman.. have you used your Buckethead yet? I have used mine twice.. first time it was a snap but now I had a few long roots get pulled but vacuum. I am worried when roots get big that I wont be able to use this to change the reservoir now. Just curious if your doing it drill pump or bucket head.

Flo, this thread has answered many many questions i've had since starting into the world of growing. I am growing Jack Frost and its a 9 1/2 week flower time from what i read. If i'm going straight from clone to 12/12, does my 9 1/2 weeks start the day they leave the clone box and get 12/12 lighting, or does those first 3-4 weeks where they are veg'ing not count on that time? does that make sense?

Perfect time to ask since I JUST finished using mine for the first time.
Love that fucker ! :clap: I have BucketMax from Lowes though.
Drained 80% of my Monkey rez and replaced w/ plain R/O water ph'd @ 5.9 !
PPM's are 600 and will continue to drop as I replace any water they drink for the next 7 days until I totally replace the rez with plain R/O water, ph'd at less than 50 for the final 10 - 12 day flush starting NEXT SUNDAY !! :clap:

YES ! You start counting Bloom days 24hrs AFTER 12/12 started, which would be Day 1 of 12/12.
I do like to sometimes count the first week of 12/12 as the transgression period. The period between veg ending and bloom starting.
Some strains you will notice, actually "pause" if you will, to get used to the new light schedule.
Hormones are about to be changed and redirected, and some strains slow down for minute while this happens.
If I "allow" this to happen, I don't count the first week of 12/12 as bloom days.
I start counting after the 7 day transgression period.
Some growers count 14 days even !

Thats the same even w/ going from clone straight to 12/12? I'm trying to get everything dialed in and then go SoG. Thats the goal.

That's exactly what I did.
Just put it in the corner of the cooler at the top of the water level and away from the roots.
Do you have buckets ? Maybe that's why you get some roots.

Yes, that would be the same.
Once the clones root, you can go straight to 12/12.

Flo. Another question for the master. If i mix up a 5 gallon bucket of my nutes can I just add some of the bucket to the reservoir as needed? Will this give the proper nutrient ration that was lost in the plant uptake? So I have a 3/4 strength mix in my reservoir right now, I mix a 3/4 strength solution in a 5 gallon bucket ready for next res change can i scoop the water outta the bucket and pour it in my res will that be the correct nutes needed?

Oh another quick one how far do you have the reservoir water from the bottom of your net cups? Mines at about 1" below.

But thanks for the props ! lol

You should be fine as ppl do this often.
Just don't leave it stagnant.
Bubble/Oxygenate it while also using it.
For instance, even the plain water I add back daily is getting bubbled 24/7.
Do the same with the nute solution.
1 air stone should be fine, as it's just for the solution and not a plant.

My rez water level is about 2" below my pots.
The roots like the air/oxygen they receive between the pot and the top of the water.
Plus, your air stones are making enough bubbles to constantly splash/mist them.

I harvested an ounce (wet) of lower nugs from the Indica dom Monkey, last night.
The leaves on most were decaying at the tips from lack of light and probably less air flow down below.
Didn't want them to dry up in my buds and create mold !
Trimmed and sat on a plate, which is on top of my hood.
Not worried about the 12hrs of lights on.
The ambient air temps and humidity/air flow are fine. Especially during lights off.
They are just my "popcorn" buds, but much bigger than popcorn ! lmao

I'll put them on the scale again too ! lol
