12/12 for veggin??

Hey guys, question. I only have 1 area to grow in (back bathroom). ALL my plants are under 1 400W HPS, 1 150W CFL, 1 60W CFL... (see pic below). The Mama plant is obviously on 12/12, but since I have no other lights, the others are veggin under 12/12 as well. Is that gonna mess the plants up in the long run?? I have 3 seeds I am germinating at the moment, and am putting them in soil in the morning. Growing Jock Horror from Nirvana ( the 3 that are already growing) the other 3 seeds im sprouting are bag seed. Anyhow, am I gonna mess shit up with that lighting schedule for the other 5 plants?? Help!

By the way, pics are from a couple days ago, but I put up Mylar today...Much brighter!! :clap:

Wow. Was not expecting that kind of reply. Thank you for the information. I am new at this, apologize. No need for getting frustrated with me though. :sad:

I will see if I can take the babies to another location in the house and put them under the CFLs. That's all I was wondering :roll:

I don't think you're going to mess anything up. It could be better, but plants growing under nothing but 12/12 will produce buds. It's done all the time in SCROG. They are just going to be small. The key is, and I can't tell if you're doing this, you need to make sure all the plants are the same distance away from your light. Don't put your light up 5 feet for your mother and then have the shorter ones down low. You want every plant to be the same height. And rotate frequently

Understand you are new. We all are/were at some point. Sorry if I came across a tad rough. I would seriously recommend you do some research on growing. Read as much as you can and definitely check out the GROWFAQ.

if youre interested in having the same light cycle for veg as well as flower there are plants that are made for this. you should look up autoflowering plants such as lowryder and all its mixes. basically you leave the light on for 18/6 from seed to harvest and the plant grows and flowers on its own.

also there are tons of other seed banks that sell different strains crossed with lowryder

12/12 light cycle is for flowering plants, not for vegging. you want 18on 6 off or 24 on 0 off for vegetative growth.

Absolutely you can do 12/12 , but plants will be small and yield will suffer. Lights look good, 400 HPS is a good light.

why is your mother plant under 12/12. If you want to keep it for clones then itll need at least 18 hours light for it to continue to veg
