10th day of flower final trim

Wassup ladies and gents!

quick question for the experienced heads here. My 1st grow wasn’t great as had way too many stems (30/40) I never knew. So this time I’m cutting it down to 15.

but as I’m trimming down I noticed the fan leaves coming from the top heads were obstructing the lower budding site just slightly underneath on the same stem so I’ve trimmed some but don’t know if it’s right to do so.

please shed some light and tell me which of the pictures are the correct way to have them as they begin to flower.

thank you in advance for reading and posting any helpful tips.

ps: the plants were asleep when photo was taken but I quickly turned on the normal light to take the pics hence why the leaves are down

2 things.

1 no need for that. Those bottom buds won't amount to much.

2 back off on the nitrogen. Thats going fuck up your flowering
was going to water flush them tomorrow but thanks for the reassurance that I am actually learning as I am able to recognise. Appreciate it. (Being genuine not sarcastic)

Next time I would take off the lower bullshit growth sites, and keep the leaves. Leaves help the plant grow, lower budsites just turn to popcorn. I started lollipoping plants years ago to encourage all growth to happen towards the rest of the plant.

So ideally you just want to create as many heads at the top by topping multiple times and then get rid of everything else other than the ones directly at the top
