hey whats up guys, just wanted to introduce myself and share what Ive been up to for a couple months now. Im growing deathstar in a 20 gallon smart pot filled with happy frog, using the full roots organics line, added mykos at transplant and bud candy to my flower program, mixing for 48 hrs with a pump and air stones. Feeding 4 1/2 gallons with little to no drain off, than letting the soil dry out than just fresh water, than dry out for 3 days until I feed with nutes again. I went with a 10 week veg, added the screen on the day before I flipped. This is my first attempt at scrog so any input is welcome and appreciated. The pics below go from last week of veg on the far left all the way until the second week of flower. plant 1.jpgplant 2.jpgplant3.jpgplant4.jpgplant5.jpg

Nice mate! Next time i suggest you to put the screen a little bit before the flower period.. It gives you the chance to train the plant properly and fill all the net. But it looks really good like this, youll have great yield if everything keep going good! Im sub.

Thanks for the feedback, seems like everyone in this forum doesn't kike to share too much lol. The screen was a bit of a last min. Idea to support the plant since it blew up really fast when I transplanted from a 3 gallon .

here she is day 28 looks like shes done stretching, buds are really starting to take off only 42 days left till harvest and I cannot wait, im like a little kid counting down the days till xmas lol, just introduced the HPK additive into the program 0-5-4 npk so it will surely fatten them up. On a side note a package from herbies headshop arrived and I started to germinate my DNA Holy Grail Kush for my next run. Great place to get seeds 7 days total to Detroit, real stealthy. That's it for now guys as always your input/comments/ harvest guesses are always welcome plant8.jpgplant7.jpg

got a call from my grow partner with some bad news, spidermites.... </3 this is no bueno not only because they're soulless evil little bastards that destroy everything, I have no way of getting around this thing easily. I ended up buying liquid ladybug drenching it thinning the canopy and drenching again the next day, I also hung a hot shot no pest strip in the grow area I hope this does the trick and kills these fuckers.

Spider mites are bad news.AVID is the only thing i have found to kill them.Ive gotten allot of crap from organic growers on here for using it.But it is one of the only products i have found that is nuclear to them and gets rid of them straight away.If you dont and they continue not only will they destroy the plants but completely stick to your buds pooping all over them and dieing in them.Freaking horrible.. little commie bastards.
If you got the extra money id buy orca film and put it into the room. This is a newer product kind of spendy but will increase your light and production. It has a 98 to 99% reflection rate with outstanding diffusion. Not only does it reflect light..but spectrum also. This product is better than even German dimple alum.
Id have a fan located under the plants blowing lightly under them with a exhaust fan located over the plant pushing the air toward the ceiling creating a vortex effect.
Some air movement directly on the plants is good..bud if the fan is set to close to the plants or at too high a velocity it will evaporate the moisture around the leaves and buds and production and health of the plant will suffer.
Everything is going well and looking good,Keep up the good work it looks great,.

Be careful with those no pest strips if you live in your grow area. I did some research on the the chemicals in those things and the results were not very comforting.

They did testing for cancer on rabbits and the results were inconclusive. The rabbits also died after a month or so. Usually the way these test work is they strap 10 of the strips to the rabbits and let them cruise around with it on them at all times.

Anyway back to spider mites. What you need is pyrethrin (dr. doom, etc.) Look for something that is safe for fruiting plants. But it's still a pesticide that you're spraying on something that your going to be smoking.

Forgot to add...

Two things that work well and supposed to be safe on fruiting plants:

Azamax
Dr Doom <---- I use the bug bomb about 3 weeks into flower and once after everything goes into jars.
