I am growing my two select plants inside of my bedroom. I tried to cut down on running costs of my personal plants by not using an aircooled reflector or inline fan and venting my bulb into my room for my personal heat at night.
I only had half a sec this morn to snap a couple with my cell. I am not happy with the quality of the pictures because last night they didn't look good because my grow light was on, and it was too freakin bright, and this morning it was too dark. Ill bring my trusty Minolta home with me and snap some more with my flash on.
Any way.. they were germinated from an undisclosed pre-fem online seed source with paper towels between two plates and then 3 days days later, placed into a mondi humidome with peat inserts fro 2 weeks. Then I took most of them and planted them in a secure location outdoors with natural local organic guano ferts and happy frog scratch-in bloom fert.
I picked my 2 favorites and put them under a 400w MH in my closet in a bag of Roots organics neutral soil (form 707). I made sure not to over water them or over fert them and I did not even introduce ferts to them until after 3 weeks and in 1/8 of what was called for. vegged for 6 weeks. I changed my light from a 400w to a 1000w MH bulb and changed my timer from 18/6 to 12/12. I was not happy with the 12/12 so I did 4 days 15/9, 3 days 12/12 for 1 week and it seemed to trigger flower. then i kept 12/12
It is 14 weeks into life not including germ, or 8 weeks into bloom. I never topped them and my closet buddies look way better than my outdoors. I changed the nutes from Fox Farms Gro-Big to Massive bloom about 4 weeks ago. My main cola on the shorter white widow is the biggest. measuring 4 1/2" not including protruding leaves, and stays solid about 9 inches down the top of the plant. My kimdog is much bigger and has more buds on it bud is not as thick or smelly as the white widow. I see red shrively pistils on the bottom fat foliar part of my plants but the cola's pistils are still white/green and growing growing thicker every day. Ive made the mistake of early harvest before, and got next to nothing, so this times different... ( ) ()
Ill update soon with some juicy looking pics _*_ ()
