I've had these plants for two weeks now. Started them under a T5 and just last week I put them under the 1000w MH. These are in soil and I am hand watering for now, but I would like to use my ebb and flow system next grow. I was giving them flora micro and grow, but am now using fox farms big grow. I'm making this grow journal to hopefully receive help when I need it. Or too just have an extra set of eyes with a little more experience than I. Have had some trouble with spider mites, but I think I exterminated them. Also some weird yellow deficiency on some of the leaves. If anyone can identify that for me I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks! One love

Looks more like they got burned with the t5 bulbs then a deficiency... at least in the last pic of your first post. Always available to help a first timer, subd.

Thanks guys.. Im still dealing with that weird yellowish leaf problem. Ill snap some pics tonight, hopefully someone can identify it. Everything is going well, got my temp down to 78 and just waiting for them to dry so I can flush them. I think maybe I over fertilized them :(

I think it looks like your light is good...I say it may b leftover for the t5 but i really think it is a nut burn..I think you would benift from a just water diet for at least four weeks ..Just let the plants use whats left and then you can start in low doses..Less is more..rember that..FOR REAL..pot grows just great usin any old dirt it quite a magical plat and yet only a weed

Lay off the nutes really? Ive been giving it Fox Farms Grow Big lately, only 2tbs/gal. Maybe I should just let them roll with just water.. Any other feedback?

I think you are right. I'm noticing some unnatural leaf curl as well that looks like its from the nutrients. These next few days are water only.

the curling leaves can be nut burn or def... the other shit looks like light burn .. some times if your watering and some water gets on your leave and you dont wipe it off. it can cause the light burn .. or your t5 is tuching the leaves.happy grow

Updated pics! Got some leaf twistin'. Currently just flushing with water. New growth seems to be twisted up as well. I think I gave them too much nutes. Take a look at these updated pics. Thinking about throwing in a 400w HPS for flowering :)

More comments please!

Hello RUI World. Got some new pictas! Im still batting with the leaf twist and discoloration. You will get a better idea what I'm talking about in the pictures. Decided to drop my plants to the ground and lower my light to hopefully accelerate growth and create more room. I will use the ebb and flow flood tables next grow after I make clones. Speaking of clones.. When can I start taking them? Can anyone recommend a solid cloning gel? Thanks please comment and enjoy! One love.

pretty sure thats PH twisting IMO. Do a flush with tap water and see what the runoff comes out to.. im betting its low. this happened to me just recently i was in the mid 4s ph range. it takes more then several flushes to bring it to where you want in my case it was UP way UP haha!!. im sure you know but if your not in ideal ph range in soil 6.2-6.8ph you get nute lock out which if not treated properly can lead to not just the up take of valueble nutreints but buildup of others that can become toxic to the plant..good luck and keep us posted

as far as clones id wait a couple of weeks till you get ph in control and some good veg nutes in em so theyre health and stable. what is goin to be your method of cloning?? RW,aero, bubble?? that method will decide if you want a powder or gel. Personally i use rootech gel.

So what do you recomend I do? Water them until there is runoff? Or should I let them dry and then water/soak? Also I checked the PH in the soil and it was around 7. Thanks for the good looks, hopefully I get this figured out!

how did you check soil ph??if you used one of those soil meters those are never accurate.depending on when you last watered You want to flood your pots with water 2x the size of the pot. so if its a gal pot you wanna flood it with 2gals,etc. get some kind of bowl to capture the water drained from the pot. i would do each pot one by one and write down the ph reading as they will all be different. depending on what the ph reading says youll want to raise or lower accordingly. there some math equation out there that shows exactly how much ph UP or Down to add to get to desired PH. its like phD flushing water minus ph run off is how far you are away from desired PH or something haha. you get what im sayin??? lol im stoned

Much appreciated I need a PH reader though. To the grow store tomorrow! What type do I need specifically? I just have the cheap garden soil one now..
