1000w la confidential and green crack

fuck fuck fuck. my kingdom for a floor drain. i flushed the crap out of the la confidential. 100 gallons through 9 45 gallon growbags, sucked all 100 gals up with a shop vac, 5 at a time. needless to say my back is sore. getting yellow spots all over the top fan leaves, think its cal def, due to too much P. hence the flushing. one bad thing i can see about organic nutes is that they seem to take time to break down, so it may be a week before you notice that you screwed up. i think this will set me back another week or so. well, next run is coco and canna a/b so, well see how that goes.

but enough of my problems, you guys just want to see the weed. first pic is what the top leaves are looking like. second is garden, then we have the tops of the two ive been tracking and then theres some crappy pics of the green crack at 6 weeks. last is the next generation...12 lavender ladies...

any input on the damaged leaves is greatly appreciated. like i said, im pretty sure its Ca def, caused by excess P, but im always open to second, third and fourth opinions.

also, yield on the two trainwreck was 92 g and change. not too shabby, couldve let them go another week, i think. se la vie...

thanks sicc. ya, i give it a week. think theyll be good by then. i have to remind myself that im a stoner, and should act like one, forgetting to fertilze rather than being over-ambitious. its wierd, though, cuz the green cracks are doing great, same nutes as the la con. this is the first run with the la con, though, so i was expecting some probs to pop up. shit, at least its not mites anymore...

The LA Con i had my last grow was a pig when it came to nutes, i actually was under feeding her because i wasnt upping the nutes as much, and the first couple weeks of flower she had some deficiencies, but once i upped the dosage, she just ate it all up

i was pumping them and they were doing great. but then i added pk13/14. within a week, yellow spots. thats why i think the P caused Ca to not be available. I THINK...ill just keep an eye on em, let em dry out a bit, and take it from there. they should have less than 3 weeks left now, but im probably gonna let em go long, to catch up to my bumbling. fingers crossed...

I had the same with my OG Kush a couple of runs back CAashtree, and I think you could be right with the excess P. I was using a different fert from the BN Grond that I use just now, it was Plagrond, and I ran out half way through, then started adding pk13/14, the OG's turned like yours real quick. I know what you mean, organics can be easier, but it also has its pitfalls as well. Looking pretty dam dark green in there though! And the lavenders are looking sweet bru!! My clones are kinda just hanging around, but I took one of the NewYork47 and it had exploed already!! Really excited about that strain.

never seen the new york 47, assuming its NYSDxAK47? good parents, and the acorn usually doesnt fall too far from the tree. so what happened with your OGs? did you flush and start over, or just back off the nutes? any delay in harvest?

Yup, thats the right linneage. So expecting big things. Got a small one on the go just now and I plan on growing the clone to a big girl. 20%+ THC, or so the story goes.

Anyway, back to your situation. Just been looking through the archives. So here's one of my OG at Seven weeks - see the leaves:
I've got more at 8 weeks, but I must have chopped at 9 cause there are no other pics after that. The plant went throgh it's cycle. If you are going for another 12 days I think you'll be right. One of the OG's leaves shrivelled up to the point of being crisp.

Hello CAashtree Things are looking good in there. Bummer about the set back, I think you'll be O.K. sounds like your doing the right thing. I luv how glossy your leaves look. Is it the strain, or do all the plants have that look? Floor drain.... I seen the writing on the wall there and took the time to build a sub floor so I could intsall a drain. I knew that would pay off in the long run. I can get a lil sloppy when watering and be O.K. with the run off. Keep up the good work, looks like your on top of things. TMB

ok, here's a good shot of what happened, but this was at 8 weeks and I also just put this down to being the OG's finishing early, but to be honest they didn't have the best weight to some of the buds. I just watered from 7 weeks in. The Headbands had no effect on them (they are the ones in the middle, the OG's are on the left and the right.) I should have left them go to 9+ weeks, but I chopped early. I think they would have been okay in hindsight. Just seem a bit of a temprimental one. Perhaps that comes through in the LA. But then the Headband aslo has the OG, but then the Headband is also mold resistant by the looks of things.

thanks dst, that looks like mine will look in another week. it sucks cuz when this started happening, they stopped growing. ive only got a few new white hairs coming through. im just gonna give em water here on out, well see if they bulk up. i really hope they do, or this will be a record low as far as weight goes.

tmb - floor drain is a must. i may add a subfloor right on top of the slab, thats a kick ass idea. like i said, ive been using a shop-vac...thats some bs.

funny thing about the trainwwreck...been growing the same cut for 3 years and i have always cut mine at 8-9 weeks. people look at me funny when i tell them that, as it tends to be a longer bloomer. but mines ready at 8 weeks... i finally asked the guy who gave it to me about it and he said i ended up with j-1 (jack herer x skunk 1, i think...), not tw. explains a lot. like why my trainwreck always tasted fruiter than any other i encountered. not my god-like grow skills after all (heavy sarcasm there...), and the whole 8 week thing too. but i do like me some trainwreck. its a pretty popular local strain round these parts.

Never really tried the Trainwreck (although the J1 I came across many moons ago in the Grey Area) They also have the Purple Trainwreck at the moment, although it doesn't look very purply to me...guess that's the growing conditions though. As long as you are happy with the weed CAashtree, does it matter what it's called (we are all obsessed with branding these days) and believing in your own skills is half the battle, be they god like or not, lol.

The only strain around here thats popular is illtakewhatevericanfind. It the beggarscantbechoosy X dryasfuck X hardtofind cross. haha No seeds tho. just poor potency. I'm convinced its rolled on screens before it arrives...whos to know. I do come across nicer zips but those connections have seemed to all but disappeared. I've never to my knowledge knew the genetics that I've smoked.

That...coupled with the fact that I deal with douchbags who only disappoint and overcharge is the reason I went looking for a new hobby. fuck spending 200-220 an O on shit that gets me high for 30mins and then turns me into a ravenous eating machine. roll, spark, repeat.

Sorry about the pi$$ poor weed situation, but then I think that is the case everywhere in the world. People taking advantage of others - bah! In Scotland you are lucky to get weed that is dry and smokable when you buy it....it's getting as bad as the non-existant hash supply that no-longer exists, unless you want to smoke plastic!! That's one of the reasons I moved country.....

I don't say it like that...just being stereotypical. lol i do know of some people who do tho. id love to visit scotland. im on the east coast in nova scotia so we have some ties friend! very similar people and landscape!

Canada is like Scotland on steroids in my mind. I can't wait to visit. My wifes Dutch cousin lives ther with her family, and I am sure my family have some genes scattered over your way, lol more Jock's outside of Scotland than in Scotland.
