Your first grow should be soil. That's a lot of plants for one light. If you put all of those into 1.5 gallon pots that one light would struggle to cover all of them. I use 2x1000w over a 4x8 tray. I can't imagine trying to cover a larger area. So each light is covering a 4x4 area.
There are those adjust a wing reflectors that appear to have better coverage. They don't really offer a cool tube option though.
My coffee table is about 4x4. In 1.5 gallong pots I think you can fit 12 or 16 average size plants.
It's not about how many plants you have.
Put them in pots with soil, veg them for about a week then flip them to flower.
Good luck. An ounce per plant on your first grow would be a great accomplishment.
