1000 watt Flo n Gro 2 Strain from seed to smoke

Hello all this is my first grow journal. Been growing a lil here and there, done a lot of reading and learned most of what i know from reading these forums. finally got some time and some cash to get a good grow going. Spent some good money and time so hopfully all goes smooth, hopeing to learn a whole lot more, any advice appriciated.

My grow consists or 9 plants.... 5 GHS chem dog fem, and 3 barneys farm liberty haze started from seed and a dna catarak kush clone.

flowering room - Equipment being used as follows: 12x6x8 foot shed split into one 6x6x8 foot flowering room and a 6x6x8 foot veg/mother work room.
1x ggl dimmable 1000 watt ballast/ggl 1000 watt bulb
1x magnum xxxl 8" aircooled with a can fan rsho 8"
1x 12 site titan flo n gro only running 9, seemed a little cramed for 12.
1x eco plus 1/4hp water chiller
1x sentinel chhc-4 env controller
1x blulab guardian
1x 1500 watt mini heater
1x canfilter 33 w/6" fan tech fx6 for heat exhaust
1x 4x12 carbon filter (used for air intake and to filter and clean air coming into the flowering room)

Veg room-
1x Hydrofarm commercial 4ft 8 bulb t5ho
1x turbo klone t-48

***Originally attempted to run clones but failed miserably. Got the dreaded snot slime, so said f it and decided to cut my losses and run from seed, will be trying a go at cloning again off the 9 plants im gonna veg for 2 months before flower****

Nutes and medium
-Running Gold label hydrocorn
-house and garden aqua flakes
-caliMaGic cal mag supp.
-Need to get root excellurater and some others, suggetions would be greatly appriciated.
-kln root for cloner and some homemade clear rez.



So with all that said lets get growing......will be posting pics soon after i make some finishing touches

Ok so far i have 3 chem dog and 3 liberty haze that cracked in the paper towels and shot a tap root. So in total i got 5 chem dog, 3 liberty haze and 1 catarack kush. i used 4x2 inch rock wool blocks and put some house and garden coco in the hole that was in the block. placed the cracked seeds in coco and am waiting for them to break surface. Moved them to there new home and nestled them in the flow and grow buckets. Im running the GGL ballast at 60% which i assume is at 600 watts and is about 4 or 5 ft from the seedlings. there are currently already 2 chem dogs that i cracked which had sprouted 2 days prior and the catarak kush clone and they are doing very well under the 600 as far as i can tell.

Filled the 55 gal drum up with some r/o and ppms came out at about

PPM 80
Temp 65
PH 6.0

PPM at 80 due to tap water left in there from cleaning.

From what i have read this is a good start point for seedlings, Any input? I have the light cycle on 18/6 and am flooding every 2 hours for 15 mins. First water is at 6 am right before light fires up and so on accept the remaining dark period.

Ok so I have a few questions....

1 I have a maxfan 6 inch pulling are from out side and ducting air through a fresh filter in to my flowering area, I have it set on a cycle timer to pull air every hour. My question is, is this going to be a good enough amount of fresh air coming in?

2 I have my light come on at 6 am and off at 12 am for a 18/6 light cycle. I have the brain bucket set to flood starting at 6 when lights come on and continue every 2 hours for 15 mins. So it floods about 7 times in a 18/6 hour period. My question is, is this too much for the rockwool cubes I have in the buckets? These cubes contain the seeds that had crack so am I am trying to keep them moist but do not want to drown them.

3. I have a can filter 33 hooked up to a fantech fx6 inline fan. The filter is up above to the right of my mqgnum hood and pulls heat from the room when the sentinel controller kicks on to exaust heat. My question is, is this going to be sufficient enough to kill odor coming off of 9 plants?(chem dog,liberty haze)

4. And finally I filled my 55 gallon drum up with some fresh r/o water and ppm came out to about 80 ppm. From what I have read on these forums and else were this should be fine for seedlings? I used to water them with the tap that came from our house and the ppms are like 600ppm, so I'm thinking they should be fine. I may be wrong tho, let me know?

The six remaning seeds have broke ground. 3 chem dog, and 3 liberty haze. Im hopeing for some fast growth as i have never used a flo n gro and have herd so many good things about it. Room temp stays between 58 - 76.5 degrees, dont under stand why temp is dropping so low at night when i have a heater set to kick on if it drops below 68. Im thinking maby its because i have my air intake pulling air in at the dark hours and the air at that time is just too cold and the heater cant keep up.

well so good so far, hopefully they stay that way

Update: dropped watering times from 7 in an 18 hr period to 4 times every 3 hours during lighted period. might drop it to 3 as the rockwool blocks stay moist longer than the hydrocorn and do not want the seedlings to rott.

Update: The air intake i have set up on a timer, it brings in fresh air every hour for 15 mins at a time. I cut the late night hours as the air it was pulling in was way to cold and was dropping my temps far below were i feel comf. So we shall see if this fixes my 50+ temp drops at night.
