1000 watt enclosed cool tube with isolated exhaust fan

would getting a lighting system like this make it possible for me to put this light as close to my plants as i possibly want i have searched around the internet and herd good things about cool tube 1000 watt lights with isolated exhaust fans and have also heard that i could put my plants as close as possible and they wont burn them i have also heard you can put your hand on it and not be uncomfortable. Does anyone have any experience with this or have tried this?

I can put my lights as close as 12" away from my plants any closer and thay start geting bleached and scorched by intense light not the heat but ye cool tubes are good I swear by em....

You could go 10" away but I tend to play it safe

And I can put my hand on the tube an hold it there for some time no problem at all just make sure your fans a gooden....
