Got another OP goin, the last one of this size gave me about 3-4 oz of GOOD BUD WEIGHT- some of the best bud I and my friends have ever come across (check profile album). I have never heard of anyone obtaining that from such a small light source and on a budget of sub $100. Light bill went up about 20 bucks / mo with the ventilation fan, thats about the extent of the real damage.

The things I bought for this grow...

- 100W HPS + Ballast $40
- 24oz Fox Farm Tiger Bloom $12
- 2 40W Hi-output Flouro bulbs + fixture $30
- Huge double-ply 2'W x 4'L x 3'H cardboard box w/ lid Free
- 225 CFM Bathroom Ventilation fan + Mylar 6" air tubing-stuff $18
- Bunch of shit you already have like soil, tape, distilled water, extension cords, timer etc... (If not, you arent ready for an indoor grow).
- Beer to start constructing Priceless

Total : $100

Comments and Likes appreciated. Don't hate b/c im using 100W HPS, this is an extremely interesting setup IMO and I CHOOSE not to go bigger.

Same here, I'm rocking 150w hps from sun system so I want to see what your yields are like.

My friend just gave me a 150w hps... I've been using three 23w 6500k CFLs for veg in a 2x2 space. I'm going to veg with the hps now, wondering how that's gonna go.

Decided to SCROG the lanky Sativa plant untill all of the heads are level and growing as one, leaving the other two. Hope she reacts well to the bending and training. Will post pics to the album in a few days.

Hey guys, Buddy; got the pics uploaded from Sunday finally... sorry about the wait, work was a bitch the last couple days. Babies are lookin good though I am confused about the sex of one of them... Description of what I see when trying to determine male or female is in the pic description, feedback appreciated. Gotta say though I haven't seen a plant's preflowers that have tiny green sliver-leaves on each side of the flower... Worried that it is a male because of how new seeing this is to me, and the fact that I havent ever really HAD a male plant before >.>

Idk, not giving up on her till a stick grows behind that ball or someone convinces me it's fem.

Hi there, ..I was going to do a 70W HPS Grow-Cab, then thought perhaps a 150W Ballast instead...But I settled on a 100W HPS Ballast & Lamp setup!

I'am using a 100W HPS E40 Ballast & Lamp combo, Dutch Pro Nuites, 4" Cool-tube, and a number of 4" fans etc... I've only just started making this unit, but it'd be cool to compare grow's/progress etc baring we are both using 100W HPS !? :) - Ztelthy :leaf:

Sure thing Ztelthy, sorry about the late reply been busy /: You can check out my last grow in my albums, it's the same setup but with 6 miniature plants... im now doing it with one bushy mother trucker. :) Lemon Haze x Skunk #1 (bred myself).

Also, to anyone still tuned in out there... 2 of the 3 turned out to be males, but luckily the best of the bunch is female :) my personal breed from 2 strains i grew a while back and decided to allow to seed so i could grow any time i want :) Pics of her by herself coming in this weekend... Will be official week 1 of flower.

I assume something went wrong. Could you tell us what happened please? We see too many abandoned threads. This is counter-productive to the community as it withholds information which could've made/saved a grow. Results are important no matter what the outcome was.
