I suck at links ya this last bust was Asian related but a few weeks back some good old boys got popped. The big med growers with big money backing them are screaming for crack downs because to be honest they grow mids with zero testing for anything an they market has collapsed.

Ya the gang bust are the only ones making the news but thats only 4000 nothing on the other 6000 with the locals maybe the feds weren't involved in the local pops.

I can't find where the feds have done too much enforcement, most appear to be big grows without the proper licensing, foreign backed with questionable money, or not following the rules. I don't have a lot of sympathy for them. The market in Ca did a similar collapse, it's nearly impossible to get a decent price for bud, most stuff is going into vapes and edibles. I have a buddy whose brother got his commercial medical grow license when the medical marijuana law passed, he was lucky, he got in on the ground floor, and is doing quite well. He has a very good network of buyers, and he stepped right in when the recreational law was approved. He buys vape cartridges for about $5 ea. fills them and sells them for $15-$20 to the dispensaries, who then retail it for about $40. He has all his certificates and does extensive testing.

Yeah, prices have crashed, in the 70's for good Humboldt Bud you could get 4-5K a lb. now for the very best you might get 2K, anything but premium will only get you about 6-9 hundred, if you can find a buyer.

But again, these are Illegal grows. That I've found, they haven't gone after legal growers. They still do a lot of enforcement in Ca, on illegal grows, a large portion of which are often on Federal Land.

Ya these are no dough illegal grows But to be honest!plant counts are a joke here nobody out there counting I have dabbled in the black market my whole life. The big money med growers with lobbyist in our state government have been screaming the last 2 yrs to crack down on black market weed= locals growing an trading some an not buying at their shops. Because they say its killing their sales, so not true what kills sales is MIDS an high retail COST. The same asshats have been trying to ban rec home growing since it started guess why DING DING because its hurting their sales free the weed!!!!!

I think us cannabis enthusiasts are an easy group for politicians to victimize. Most I’ve met are above average intelligence and overly laid back when it comes to confrontation. For years now I plan on calling my congressman….. tomorrow.
