1 week old seedling problem

This is my first grow and I have a one week old seedling of sweet tai from attitude, 4-5 days ago the fan went and the box got too hot, killed one seedling and left this guy heat stressed(or so I thought). The leaves were cupping(maybe still are?)and the tips turned yellow. Anyway it's been a few days since then and the plant is still growing, but I'm afraid the yellowing on the tips might be more than stress. Could the temp caused some type of burn when the fan went out? Please help I'm concerned for the little bugger

Setup:
FFOF soil
125 w cfl grow bulb blue spectrum

it's a weed, it's resilient, it will recover, don't over water, don't put to close to lights. give it some time. dont water for at least a day

the seedling will most likely make it. as mentioned, they are tough as hell and can take a lot of abuse except over watering, which is the biggest killer of seedlings. GL

also looks like the ff might be slightly to hot for you're strain, i never used it, but dont they do i lighter version for younger plants

I know lots of peeps use FFOF to start seedlings, but I think it is to hot. I prefer to start in Happy Frog and then I will veg and flower in a 50 / 50 mix of Happy frog , and FFOF.

Nice move. You're going to love that. Next up........bigger tent to bloom. Small for veg and big for bloom. Get a fan. Do not add nutes to the FF for 4 weeks at least. Don't overwater. Look at this:

Read the first post from Uncle Ben. I am not saying its overwatering. These are great basics to follow.

Thanks! when these guys were in solo cups they got watered once every 2 or so days( sometimes once a day if it got in the box), they've been moved to 1 gals(RQ started in one). When should I water? My method thus far has been to see how moist the soil is in comparison with a freh scoop of soil from the bag (if pot soil is wetter I leave it be). I'm not that great at judging by weight, and iassume that b/c the ants are so small, water below a certain level In the pot isn't getting to the roots.

Update: things are going swell now. The Sweet tai is really taking off and the royal queen(about a week) is right behind her. I want to turn this into a log so I've added some updated pics.
