1 month into budding ! want to take a snip!

Alright, so its been 1 month on 12/12 65watts fluorescent not sure how far i am but im in a hurry on harvesting it. Hair around the bud are 35% red orange and not that very big and trichomes are clear not ready but im wondering if it wouldn't be a bad idea to snip a bud off the bottom to check it out, and if so where should i snip from.

I am no pro but it isn't even close. I know it is tempting (almost done with 1st grow) but wait it out. Mine have been flowering for 12 weeks. it is tough but wait it out!

well ok.....i have no choice in this case wut would be the result if done? I see alot of peepz that take a snip from the bottom and no damage is made. Its my first time indoors and let me say that wow very slow process compaird to outdoors! well alright thanx! to all

More than likely it wouldn't taste well. You would also be giving up a lot of potential bud by taking one small bud off your lady

waste of time 4 weeks is not enough time may get a lil buzz maybe not...but i wouldnt do it...

If u gonna take a smaple do it when it's atleast 2 weeks before harvest.... doing at only a month into flowering ... it wont be that potent .. your just cheating yourself

If you don't have the patients to grow,
buy your weed from someone who does.

most likely you will end up with a couple nugs of hay.

Your're going to wish you kept ur plant intact as soon as you try n take that first toke.

try it out brother. probably not one of the major colas, but one that's off to the side. tell us how it goes

That's my man! I've tried it myself in the past, nothing wrong with it. You can have both and try a small bottom bud in the midst of flowering and still have patience to grow the big cola to the full. No problems. It's a plant for satan's sake, not a holy grail. Don't be afraid, experiment. Oh, and those premature buds can kick some serious ass for real. Ciao!

I agree fully with meathook. Don't think too hard, it's only a plant. Take a small toke, or not. You will not seriously cut into your final yield if you pick a sample from a lower branch with a lesser popcorn bud. Just don't go crazy, and try to find some decent meds to use while you wait for harvest.

I have a couple babies of my own and I sniped a bud from the bottom about three weeks in to budding stage and results were good but the next day I clipped form the near top and results were extreme couchlock and memory loss LOL I would suggest if this were going to be a one time deal until complete. Pick from the top.

I harvested a hermie at 5.5 weeks into flowering last nite. I quick dried a couple buds today.. bout 50/50 clear / cloudy under the scope. out of the ice bong it smells fruity, tastes fruity, and the buzz is rather nice.. im sure it woulda been excellent if she'd have made it to amber anyway its your baby man and if you wanna sample her, by all means sample her.. im now a believer lol
